UVA Student Firefighters Answer the Call To Serve Their Community

The Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department is staffed primarily by UVA students. They run an average of 3,000 calls a year, the highest in the county, doing the same job career firefighters do - EMS calls, medical calls, fire calls. Then they go back to school the next day. Visit this unique firehouse, where you’ll meet UVA students of all types and majors who share a common goal: to serve others in their time of need.
