You're a great golfer, Grant. I have to say though, every time I watch one of your videos I see at least one hole where you reflexively hit driver off the tee or try to drive a green and end up in trouble, where if you just hit a hybrid or a 3 wood you'd have a short iron into the green. Just an observation man. I used to do the same and I started targeting a distance that favors my 8 or 9 iron into the green which are my most comfortable short irons. Much better than hitting it out of the rough, or off of some less than favorable lie next to the green.

You don't need a green to practice putting. You only need a green to practice matching speed to slope. I remember a story featuring Tiger putting on a basketball floor.
I've got a plastic 'hole' that sits on my carpet. I've made a rule I gotta drop 10 in a row before I can go to bed each night from nine feet and my putting stats on shot scope have me better than a tour pro inside 20 feet now. Barely.

I love how he plays that little fade. You can talk to a fade but a hook won't listen.

What two great people right here! People take notes. Everytime somebody says good shot the kid says thank you. Such humility from a kid

My favorite Lee Trevino quote was always "You can talk to a fade, but a hook don't listen".

Grant well done in the way you treat this young guy. With role models like yourself and Jordan he can only succeed in life and his gold career- respect Grant.

*I just turned 13 and I want to challenge him, I’ve been playing for 4 months and already using adult clubs, stiff shaft, average drive is 250 yards, average 3 wood shot is 210 yards!*

I am impressed by this young man: he is not only talented, but also very humble and mature. And he is only 12 years!!!!! I would like to see him in the PGA if I live enough time. Best regards from Mexico City

Our grounds keeper does the same thing with the hole placement, I often say they place the hole on the green and laugh all the way back to the shed. 😂😂😂😂
