controversial take but i actually prefer videos without loads of cart footage....don't always have an hour and a half for a video and feel this flows better and still allows you to get to know the golfers and hear them talk through their shot but without all the extra stuff

I love watching the golf, but honestly the cart cam content is usually garbage. I know they're giving some insight into the players in theory, but i don't think there's much substance to most of their conversations. I also hate them showing driving to the course, flying, dgaf about their hotel room. Just golf, in my opinion@bornofstardust5910

@@michaeljones9904 this is JD JR home course lol ... this might be one of the hardest courses i've ever seen. a lot of golf is knowing where to play your shots and i bet if grant played this course again he would shoot much lower. golf is hard

With this editing style, this is the best yt golf video I’ve watched. Eliminate the cart cams… they add length to your videos and people don’t have attention spans like they used to.

My family are members at The Blessings and we’re currently building a house in that neighborhood! Such a beautiful course but it’s so difficult it drives me crazy!

Played The Blessing's once with three customers in town. Bought 24 balls at the pro shop and we quit after 15 holes due to lack of balls. It's still the most difficult course I've ever played.

There's people that are gonna rip John for saying that course is 10X harder than Augusta, but looking at these holes, the long fescue on EVERY hole, the SUPER deep rough, the hard greens... Idk about 10X, but its WITHOUT A DOUBT harder. I would honestly be scared to play that place from the tips, and I'm a true 5 hdcp right now. 😮

It's on The Golf Channel for a big college tournament every year, too. At least, that's where I'd previously seen this course. Otherwise, I'd never be able to view it either. A very distinct and sleek modern clubhouse.
I'm not sure what big tournament they host (believe it was a male and female collegiate), but you can view it airing on The Golf Channel. If someone posts the name of that collegiate tournament, I'll look up the dates and post them here for you to check Golf Channel over that (2-3 day) period.
They have the d1 ncaa championship sometimes
@@BuffaloNickel9they host the blessings collegiate, it’s a combined men’s and women’s NCAA d1 tournament in October, they also have regionals there every 4-5 years and hosted nationals back in 2019

Personally I love the cart cam footage. That is the thing that separates YT golf for everything else...we get to know the people personally, and that makes us bigger fans.

I think knowledge of that course layout and especially the greens for roll and spin is worth a LOT of shots. Playing that cold would be a nightmare. That said, John shot the lights out, but you can see he knows the roll on the greens.

One of probably the two most exclusive courses in the state. So awesome that you got a chance to film there! Sucks that it’s probably the closest I’ll ever be to actually seeing it though 😂
This was great! John Jr. seems laid back just like his dad. Grant, you need to tighten up on that putting! lol. This course was very challenging and the greens (levels, roll, pin positions, and approach shots into it) were tough!

I typically fast forward through the cart scenes after the first couple of holes so this probably helped your channel honestly since I imagine fast forwarding hurts watch time.
