Again, thank you so much for reacting to my request. This is one of my favorites that I love to see peoples reactions too. I know it's a tearjerker, but it says a lot about Kelly and her story. In case you didn't know, this was written by Kelly about her biological father who walked away from her when she was six years old. This is also my story. Kelly Clarkson and Pink are two amazing performers. Check them out singing Everybody Hurts at the 2017 Billboard Awards. Then Pink's 2010 Grammy performance of Glitter in the Air is hands down one of the best performances.
I cry every time I hear this song by Kelly. My father went away when we were young kids leaving my mother with 8- of us to raise by her self never to come back home, so it really hits home for me. Kelly is a great singer. Thanks❤️✌️

Yes, more Kelly, please! Please watch the video for, "Because of You," which she also wrote - when she was 16. And she has an amazing duet with Jake Hoot, who was the winner from her team on The Voice a few seasons ago. Holy cow, is it powerful! "I Would've Loved You." Or, OMG, her tribute to Garth Brooks from the Kennedy Center Honors ... "The Dance." There is nothing she can't sing, I think she has a jukebox in her head and knows every word to every song and can make them all hers. :)

Kelly was fully preggers here. She wrote this song to praise her husband ( by comparing him to her lousy Dad) who eventually stole money from her and was a dishonest jerk, too. Kelly has one of the greatest voices in pop ever. .
She's definitely up there with the GOATs vocally. Her vocal abilities, versatility and gift for emoting deserve to be mentioned with names like Celine, Mariah and Whitney in my opinion. Her talents as a singer seem as limitless as her vocal range!

Listen I remember watching this when it first came on the very first time literally in tears watching the song until this day it breaks my heart and I don’t know if you know this but this is about her life. Kelly Clarkson is a bad ass she’s a force to be reckoned with she can sing anything from Country to pop to hip-hop to rock! She is a bad ass, periodt!

Of course this song is about how her father was a deadbeat dad but sadly the husband she’s singing about allegedly cheated on Kelly multiple times and now they’re in a messy divorce.
He also spent an excessive amount of her money🤬🤬🤬 And i’m pretty sure she is officially divorced from him. It was messy but she held it together for her babies and unlike him she DID put her 1st (daughter and son)💯💯💯

I can't ever listen to this song without crying. The really sad thing is the man she referred to who put her and her child first cheated on her throughout their marriage. Kelly has endured so much in her young lifetime but she has turned all that hurt into something so powerful and it has made her stronger. I adore her and wish her the love and peace we all deserve. Since then her husband did walk away and she had to pay him.
One reason that Kelly made it so far is that Clive Davis took over managing her. No American idol since has done as well as she has. She has her own talk show and she pulls in about 1 ml a week
Carrie Underwood is more successful but Kelly Clarkson in my opinion has the better writing and voice.

I can hear this being sung loud and proud as a righteous affirmation. A total screw you to her bio dad and now ex husband.
Sad that this song was about how her husband restored her faith in men but then he ended up hurting her and demanding a ridiculous amount of spousal support…
A very emotional performance. However I don't think it's a good representation of what an amazing singer Kelly is. Try her stunningly beautiful version of I will always love you from a few weeks ago at the ACM awards. For something more soulful try Meaning of life (Nashville sessions version). I think these will better show why in my opinion Kelly is the best singer on the planet.

She and her mother were abandoned by her biological father when she was just 6. Can you imagine the horrible emotional scars?!?!
Then when she meets a man she wants to marry she travels to that asshole to ask him to walk her down the aisle. He says "no" but the man she meets won't leave her. He starts helping her recover from that. We all need to be reversible vasectomy at age 10. Then before we can have it reversed, we need to prove we will be decent fathers.
