one thing thou, in all offering bowls I've seen, they say, not to put the bowl, ever, empty on the altar, and in order to do so, they start pouring water right from the first one, go on like that, from one to one. Maybe this is Bon tradition different?

I think This is quite wrong way to offering to our God! And deities.. the Bowls placed empty it's means no respect for them .We should keep all bowls in our hand and put few water in the first bowl and pass it one by one and place the all bowls in a straight queue with perfect gap, then fill water.
we can all laugh at 1:55 when His Honarable says "Bowl Should" but sounds like "Bull Sh!t" c'mon... its funny... Namaste to one and all, Smile, Breathe...
