Sir you have no idea how helpful this video is… I have been trying to fix that belt on my grandmas mower for the last 2 weeks and about to take it into a mechanic to fix it- then I found your video… Explained so simple and made it so easily THANK YOU!!!
Thanks I put a larger pully on my duraforce to slow the walking pace. It worked out but I needed a longer belt. The original belt kept driving no matter the takeup adjustment. Lawnboy 10525 Again Thanks
Thanks for posting this video. I have two LB Dura Force mowers that I use on a regular basis. The mowers have the original drive belts, so I always wondered how you replace these. Hopefully, I will not have to do it anytime soon!
Thanks, buddy! Yeah, I've never torn one of these down, but they're OK machines in my opinion. I love two stroke mowers -- they're like antiques nowadays. But these just don't impress me. The carbs are plastic and they warp, they tend to surge, replacing the belt is a chore... In fact, one spring I saw one of these on the curb and I left it there. But this time, it worked out. :)

I priced a belt, more than $20, so I shortened the cable with a 1/16" ferrule from Lowe's for $2. Your video was well done.
Thanks! And good work on your fix!

yes after that I can't blame you on not liking the duraforce lawnboy
Thanks for the video, missed ya! Never worked on a Dura-Force 2 stroke before, interesting to see how they do it.

Good job 👍
Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I'm curious what you did to adjust the cable though?
