READ THIS! President Biden(s!) is asking Congress for $13 billion for Ukraine. Where is the money for securing the US Southern Border? Thousands of people from all over the world, including Russians, invade the USA through the border Democrats are not interested in securing!!
Why did not the Obama/Biden give these sanctions when Russia invaded the Ukraine Crimea region in 2014???? The small sanctions implemented gave Putin the green light for his current actions!! Why was Hunter Biden on the Board of Directors of a Ukranian energy company for $50,000 a month?? What about the evidence on Hunter Biden's laptop and his Chinese Communist connections!?!?

It was not unhinged at all. It was a perfectly orchestrated and scripted play, with one person who began to flub his lines and needed prompting from the director. The purpose of the play was to give the director a room full of people who could be offered up at any moment the audience (the Russian people) began looking for those responsible for their sons coming back in body bags. If you ever wondered what went on in German government during the late 1930's, you are getting a front row seat to the contemporary version.

This wasn't anything about the advisors advising Putin, this was about them telling Putin what he wanted to hear and it was easy to see the fear they showed in their body language and clearly just going on that, this is Putin's war not Russia's war but for this to get resolved, it's going to take these kinds of people that are close to Putin to become brave and do something about it otherwise it could be all their necks on the line if they leave it too late and the Russian people rise up with how bad things are getting in the country.
Either way, I think Putin is finished no matter what happens in Ukraine, there are some lines you don't cross and I can't see how he can recover from this.

In 1991, the West's purchasing power was 80% of the world's, nowadays 36%. Driving Russia into the arms of China by trying to grab it through related oligarchs under Jeltsin the Drunk was the biggest diplomatic mistake of the previous millennium. The second was expanding Nato influence eastward, against repeated reassurance of the opposite (I.a. by Nato SecGen Wörner), also by the use of bombs with which we Europeans were "allowed" to disrupt our neighbourhood on the Balkans, in W Asia and N Africa, from where we then had to receive millions of poor refugees. Wasn’t Putin who violated multiple treaties. Wasn’t Putin or Russia who backed out the last Iran deal. Wasn’t Putin who flooded Ukraine with militantly liberal NGOs in the attempts to foment colour revolution. The US did all of the above, and all the ignorant sheep who treat their TV and mainstream news as gospel are too blind and brainwashed to understand any of this. They have absolutely no idea the kind of people and forces they’re ACTUALLY supporting. And their naivety and their blind and shallow ignorance is going to get all the rest of us into serious problems. And all they need to do is exert basic critical thinking skills and do a little bit of homework.
And by homework, I don’t mean the news. I don’t mean Vice either. I mean reading the reports of former military consultants like Colonel Douglas MacGregor who was predicting all this for a long time. I mean brilliant academics who understand the East and can speak Russian language like Dr. Matthew Raphael Johnson. That is what I mean by homework. Apparently, that’s too exhausting and lacking in depthless sensationalism for all the lemmings.

At no point has he done anything remotely in the interest of anyone but himself. For years his "opponents" have gone missing, been poisoned, or taken "accidental" falls from 15 storey balconies. Take a second and look at what he has done in Chechnya, Georgia, Crimea, Syria, etc etc and let me know at what point "fair" was a good adjective/adverb to use for what he's done.

The famed “sword of Damocles” dates back to an ancient moral parable popularized by the Roman philosopher Cicero in his 45 B.C. book “Tusculan Disputations.” Cicero’s version of the tale centers on Dionysius II, a tyrannical king who once ruled over the Sicilian city of Syracuse during the fourth and fifth centuries B.C. Though rich and powerful, Dionysius was supremely unhappy. His iron-fisted rule had made him many enemies, and he was tormented by fears of assassination-so much so that he slept in a bedchamber surrounded by a moat and only trusted his daughters to shave his beard with a razor.
As Cicero tells it, the king’s dissatisfaction came to a head one day after a court flatterer named Damocles showered him with compliments and remarked how blissful his life must be. “Since this life delights you,” an annoyed Dionysius replied, “do you wish to taste it yourself and make a trial of my good fortune?” When Damocles agreed, Dionysius seated him on a golden couch and ordered a host of servants wait on him. He was treated to succulent cuts of meat and lavished with scented perfumes and ointments. Damocles couldn’t believe his luck, but just as he was starting to enjoy the life of a king, he noticed that Dionysius had also hung a razor-sharp sword from the ceiling. It was positioned over Damocles’ head, suspended only by a single strand of horsehair. From then on, the courtier’s fear for his life made it impossible for him to savor the opulence of the feast or enjoy the servants.

It's a very clever tactic, if true. If you think it through though every person in that room knows that apart from not daring to cast any form of disagreement, or invite a discussion to be opened, they are there to be used as Vladimir Putin's scapegoats. He will convene these meetings for the ultimate purpose of reflecting the blame onto them, which from his corrupted perspective makes good political sense yes, but it also broadcasts to everyone who works in his government and various security and financial agencies that this man is not going to take any responsibility for anything that goes wrong - he will blame them. And _his_ sins become theirs to bear, and suffer the consequences. Imagine the depth of the fear, but also the sheer depth of the bottled-up resentment towards this man.
It's a clever tactic yes, but still a sight that demonstrates Putin as being the modern equivalent to the Roman Emperor Caligula. After 19 years since the beginning of the invasion of Iraq, has the West forgotten this war?

As of 2022, the Federation of American Scientists estimates that Russia possesses 5,977 nuclear weapons, while the United States has 5,428; Russia and the U.S. each have about 1,600 active deployed strategic nuclear warheads.
Russia has the most nuclear weapons of any country, at 6,257. Of these, 1,458 are active, meaning they are already deployed, 3,039 are available (can be deployed if needed) and 1,760 are retired (out of use and awaiting dismantlement

how many people have been killed and wounded in Iraq since the 2003 United States invasion. However, we know that between 184,382 and 207,156 civilians have died from direct war related violence caused by the U.S., its allies, the Iraqi military and police, and opposition forces from the time of the invasion through October 2019. The violent deaths of Iraqi civilians have occurred through aerial bombing, shelling, gunshots, suicide attacks, and fires started by bombing. Many civilians have also been injured.
Because not all war-related deaths have been recorded accurately by the Iraqi government and the U.S.-led coalition, the numbers are likely much higher. Several estimates based on randomly selected household surveys place the total death count among Iraqis in the hundreds of thousands.
Several times as many Iraqi civilians may have died as an indirect result of the war, due to damage to the systems that provide food, health care and clean drinking water, and as a result, illness, infectious diseases, and malnutrition that could otherwise have been avoided or treated. The war has compounded the ill effects of decades of harmful U.S. policy actions towards Iraq since the 1960s, including economic sanctions in the 1990s that were devastating for Iraqis.
Despite more than $100 billion committed to aiding and reconstructing Iraq, many parts of the country still suffer from lack of access to clean drinking water and housing.
