@@ForgeCreate No offense, but I think if this piece of metal was already heat-treated you would have a VERY difficult time doing anything with it such as grinding and drilling into.
yes beautiful masterfully made with excellent equipment, I also make i similar knives, but let me tell you that you made a huge mistake in blunting the saw, thus rendering it useless! It will not cut anything! Too bad it would have been a beautiful blade! truly multipurpose! but this way you have only ruined it! If you watch my only video for now, on my new channel opened years ago, but only recently I started uploading something, you will understand why the hacksaw should not be beveled! You have rendered that blade useless! It is a shame to be able to use it only as a knife and that's it! then you made the hole to use it with the wirecutting plate, which usually have the rigid sheaths of the M9 bayonets, but the profile of the counter edge is not ideal to interact with that plate! It should have been asymmetrically beveled with the hole in that position!
Adding to your comment about no makers mark and no heat treat. How about the improper use of several tools and the calipers. Digital ones at that. Those are the ones that are the least accurate. Not to mention the extra added time by using unnecessary steps and processes. I can understand if he was hand forging it, but to use machines and precision tools and it takes that long with that many steps, is ridiculous.
Hi, I bought a heat treated steel bar so I don't need to do it anymore. Also I'm an amateur crafter so I'm slowly improving my technique. Thanks for watching the video 😁😁
@@FreeSpeechest1776 however he made it he made a knife and a good looking one at that. I would like to see a makers mark as I think he should be proud of his work 🙂
The build quality and details are impressive.
Looks great!
Great work with precision, I subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
Good one
Enjoyed - subscribed 😊

Seriously, @FreeSpeechest1776!? If you could do better, then let's see you try to do it! Otherwise, quit shitting on this individual's work!!
@geraldstamour1312 I'm a machinist, fabricator, welder and commercial subsea diver. Of course I can do better.
