The official worst player ever was Lee from 2008. Game started strong but Lee's luck quickly turned sour. At the end of the game, faced with either £1 or £10, the banker offered Lee to raise the stakes; choose whether or not to swap and then, a massive gamble; open the box with £10, Lee would walk with £510, open the box with £1 and he would walk away with nothing. Lee took the gamble and chose to keep his box, Noel opens it to reveal the £1, and the Banker, true to his word, refused the payout, and Lee became the first player to walk away with nothing.
@@stevenpaulgouldingIt got so many tedious additions: I still never understood the point of that weird thing where they had to guess the banker's first offer.
To answer the Noel’s question about him and the crew not being able to remember an all-blue 8 box, at this point in time it only ever happened once, fairly recently: Chris’s game in 2009. So I’m surprised they couldn’t remember it. Then obviously in 2012 Mark came along and completely smashed all records out of the water and was all blue 9-box let alone 8.
I know the game. He offered bad amounts the whole time and it was a relentlessly bad game. The player did the 100M in 11.09 seconds and the banker offered £11.09 (afaik his best offer). I have seen that game many times and it defies logic the bad luck he had, but he was wearing a 13 ring the whole time.
@@yutehube4468 I was honestly in disbelief watching marks game. You would think only a script could write what happened. And yes 13 was so influential and it was so unlucky 😂
Nothing beats Mark de Souza’s game, it’s on daily motion. I honestly couldn’t believe what I was watching, the odds were absolutely monstrous of him pulling off what he did. Mark also had box 14.
Hindsight and all but £1,100 was a very good deal when only having a 1 box higher than it. Deserved to have his ending when he was chasing the big one.
In an earlier episode, a guy called Igor took the hotseat, ended up with the worst two boxes at the end, was offered 2p like Lawrence but actually dealt at it. Would have won five times as much if he hadn't dealt lol
Lawrence was offered £1.100 at the end of the third round. Those who had dealt at that stage have turned down life changing sums of money. Deal or no Deal is a random game.
It’s a shame there wasn’t some sort of “rage quit” option where you just walk from the game. I don’t think could handle the slow agonising humiliation. Everyone cheering the 1p lol
One of the 'Worst Game Ever'? Just what do you mean 'One Of The Worst'? Are You a Comedian, or a Clown? Or, are you just trying to make us Laugh? This is DEFINATELY the WORST GAME EVER and probably the Worst one EVER on British TV history.
Given that 5-box scenario, I'd have taken the £1100... Only one higher, and the highest blue of £750 is still lower than the offer of £1100.
Why would you not take £1100? Only a 1 in 5 chance of winning more
I suppose 1,100 isn't a lot of money and he thought it was worth the chance
I guess because he only had to open 1 box, an 80% chance of getting a bigger offer was worth stretching to.
Because they're all greedy bastards.
Because more is less when it isn’t more. Or less
Because he only had to open one more box, and if it was a blue (80% chance) then the offer would have gone up

Definitely the worst game of Deal or No Deal anybody has ever played. Laurence was left with 1p and 10p; he won the former (1p).
whatever you think of Noel he was the perfect presenter of this game. just the right balance of cheesy and serious
The first five series were brilliant, but then it became too silly and drawn out.
@@stevenpaulgoulding agreed, it did outstay its run after a while.
@@stevenpaulgouldingIt got so many tedious additions: I still never understood the point of that weird thing where they had to guess the banker's first offer.
Crazy how Jodie just a few games earlier had boxes 11 and 14 at the end, producing a £100k/£250k finish. Here they contain the total opposite!😂

I call this the "Banker's Dream Finish"
Yes it was also done by Igor (9 July 2007), who's also got record for the lowest deal ever 2p 😆
In Italy we call this the "Eternal Esteem Finish"
I hate when they get hugged for opening the box
Lol why
8:42 Unperfect game...
10:21 And with my rules, he would've gone home with NOTHING at all...
If only there were more episodes like this, I might have watched more regularly.
Same. Love it when these smug idiots lose.
There were numerous including 52 contestants who were members of the 1p club.

It's totally the contestants fault. 1100 is a very good amount for the terrible sums of money he had still on the screen. Greed destroyed his game.

love it ! cheered me right up
Wonder what that guy would have given to climb into one of those boxes? 😮

This game of "take your pick " is based on greed and stupidity.
This was definitely the unluckiest game of all time IMO until Mark De Souza completely eclipsed it in July 2012
What did he do?
@@cillianholohan2459 his 8 box was just blues and he left with nothing
I came
I have no idea what you mean.
@@doolan0543forget 8 box he was all blue at 9 box!!
10:19 Ooof Should have taken the 4p
