Hello - I've been looking for something like this to learn about how to use the various presser feet for the Janome 1200D coverlocker machine. There do not seem to be many if even a few, video tutorials on exactly how to use all of these extra feet and I've been a bit frustrated trying to figure some of them out. Would love this! Thanks - Anna C.

      Hi Stella,
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I am not familiar with this machine personally so had to get some advice. If you don't have your instruction manual please contact Janome UK direct and they can email you a PDF version.
The attachments seem to be the same however as on a standard overlocker (Serger in the US) so there are a few videos already on You Tube ( I have put a few links below)
Also I would highly recommend the books by Julia Hincks on Overlockers and more recently Coverstitch machines she goes in to far more detail ,lots of pictures and projects to try too. The Coverstitch Manual mentions dual function machines too.
We will be looking at Overlockers etc at some stage but are starting with sewing machines so perhaps these will help in the meantime!
      Julia xx

@@janomestitchclubuk thank you for the links. Appreciated. I have an attachments brochure which shows them, but with no real actual explanations that help. Some are simply (to me) not intuitive. The attachments in some cases look very different from other brands as well. I will keep looking and appreciate your response. Stella

Hi Julia, I was just wondering if you have any plans to demonstrate Janome overlockers please? Also, please can I ask, what pattern did you use to make that lovely cable top your wearing? I have some identical fabric and haven’t found just the right pattern yet. Thank you in advance. Marilyn x

      Hi Marilyn
Hopefully going to look at overlockers at some stage. It is actually a dress version of the Tilly and the Buttons Freya from her book Stretch but I have hacked it to have a v-neck. Xx
