Robert Irwin reminds me so much of his father, from his voice, to his looks, his smile, and his passion for the animals. I miss Steve too much 😭💔😭

Most of the zoos i see are too small and the animals look sick and treated badly....but this is more like a lovely well sized open space for them..they seem calm and well treated ...Steve irwins family are awesome ..

A zoo (even australia zoo) is a show for humans.
@ronin many of these animals are being protected by them. They are so few of these animals they are endangered species. In the wild they would have been killed by poachers. I'm happy that many of these animals are being taken care. They have disabled animals that would have been dead years ago. Thanks to there care they are alive happy and healthy.
@@MGOMEZ1985 I'm so against zoos too. But, I understand that many bad people want to kill them in the wild. I would rather them be here in this zoo than to be endangered by humans outside. This is the only zoo that I would consider visiting.

@@real2real191 Steve died happy because he lived a life with purpose. Robert has stated in other interviews that there's always a risk dealing with wild animals. He knows it but he still wants to carry his father's legacy. He knows there's a risk of dying, but he's willing to take that risk. Nothing wrong with that

It's so weird, so very weird to call him a boy, I know he is one but he just does not act or seem like one what so ever, at least to me.

The zoo looks MASSIVE!! I'd be willing to fork out that much money to go to a zoo that actually looks like its exhibits are decently sized for their animals.
JazzyHK Its really nice! I live nearby so i’ve been there a lot but trust me you’ll enjoy it to the fullest. Its extremely big too so you have plenty to explore.

You can either just pay the entry fee and walk around looking at all the animals like any other zoo, or you can pay a little extra to get up close and personal with certain animals, hold and pet them, etc. and all that money goes back into that particular animal's natural habitat.
Like, if you pay to pet or have one on one time with the Rhinos, all the proceeds go to Africa towards anti-poaching efforts and other conservation work. And it's the same with the koalas and lemurs, etc.
It can get very expensive, but it's for the best cause in the world because the owners, the Irwins, obviously lol dont use the money to buy Lamborghinis and Multi-Million dollar mansions.
The money goes right back into everything the Irwins do to protect animals and educate people around the world. 👍

I’m amazed just how far Robert’s come, considering how he was just 2 years old when Steve died! Yet despite having to grow up without his father, he’s taken so much after him!!
The Irwin's simply have hearts of gold.
I tell ya...... steve is smiling from ear to ear watching down on his family carrying on what he loves sooooo much. He’d be sooooo proud of his kids especially. What an awesome family.

The zoo really has taken off. When I last went, when Robert wasn't even born, it was vast, but not too many animals, and most them were crocs. But now...
I love the Irwins kids! His dad touch the hearts of people ALL over the world, I watched every television show his dad was ever in, this is just awesome on so many levels! God bless you!
It’s crazy to think that I grew up going there all the time on the weekends and stuff and never realised how lucky I was to live 15 mins down the road, I even got to see him do a show at the crocoseum when I was only a one year old
Carrying on Steve’s legacy
I went there a few month ago for the first time. The zoo is AMAZING. Wasnt lucky to see bindi or robert. Long drive BUT definitely worth it. I love it. But it was raining the whole day🤨.
I loved Steve and his passion for what he does from day 1. I would LOVE❤❤ to go see the zoo!! It's on my bucket list.🐊

Same here, I live in the Uk and for a few different reasons it's really not something I can do although I've wanted to go since before Steve was with Terri, like forever. Would be such a dream come true, but it's so good to see video's like this and see things still expanding and doing well :)

From the marsupial family found in Australia eating eucalyptus leaves is the koala since it carries babies in it's pouch because koalas are critically endangered & comes out at night.

Ring Tailed Lemurs are from Madagascar since it is not hard to miss by it's gray & black striped tail. When threatened by fossas, it uses body odor for defense.

If you ever come to Australia, make sure you come to Australia Zoo! Taronga Zoo in Sydney is good, But to me it is much like other Zoos. Australia Zoo they put emphasis on conservation and freedom of movement for animals. Learn tonnes about Crocs, Because Crocs Rule! There is large open areas where you can interact with Wildlife and if you pay extra (As said in this video, proceeds do go to conservation) you can meet your favourite animals up close. When I went, there was a guy standing next to a cheetah.
