Mahalaxmi Racecourse Royal Western India Turf Club Mumbai. The Mahalaxmi Racecourse is a horse racing track in the Mahalaxmi neighborhood of Mumbai. The track is oval-shaped with 2,400 meters straight chute, spread over approximately 225 acres of open land in the heart of Mumbai city. It was created out of a marshy land known as Mahalakshmi Flats.
Amongst the races that are held at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse are the Great Indian Derby Race, the 1000 Guineas Race, the 2000 Guineas Race, the Oaks Race, and the St Leger Race.
