Welcome to hell-a.k.a. Belle Reve, the prison with the highest mortality rate in the US of A. Where the worst Super-Villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out-even join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X. Today’s do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone’s favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then arm them heavily and drop them (literally) on the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. The Squad is on a search-and-destroy mission with only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave…and Amanda Waller’s government techies in their ears, tracking their every movement. And as always, one wrong move and they’re dead (whether at the hands of their opponents, a teammate, or Waller herself). If anyone’s laying down bets, the smart money is against them-all of them.

43:19 The scene where *Harley* is dangling from the ceiling and uses her feet to hold the key and unlock the shackles was actually done by *Margot Robbie.* But when it was shot they didn't realize her dress was obscuring *Margot's* face, so nobody saw it was her. Instead, it looks like a stunt double is doing this amazing trick which was _actually done by _*_Margot._*
If I’m not mistake but a friend who does make up in the industry told me she’s a gymnast or trapeze or something like that so that’s believable.
Starro didn't try to conquer the planet. They were taken hostage and imprisoned. That couldn't have been made any clearer in the film.
Nathan Fillion didn't voice Nathan Drake in Uncharted but he did do a fan made video of him as Nathan Drake.

Just fyi, what you're referring to at 28:56 from the Justice League Animated Series wasn't Starro. That was a plant called the "Black Mercy". As far as I know, the Black Mercy gives the host the fantasy while feeding on their "bio-aura" - but not controlling them - whereas Starro takes control of the host and makes it part of it's hive-mind.
It was also in batman beyond when he met the justice league of that era.
And there is a reference to starro in one of the animated films. I forget which one specifically.
Joel Kinnaman did a great job with Flagg. I wouldn't have expected to care about that character dying, but he actually made me care.

Mark 44:44. In her second movie, that's when we began seeing flowers, confetti, and such, in association with her. Beginning with her usage of a, bean bag gun, that used confetti too, with each shot. I think that for that movie, they used practical stage effects, such as confetti mortars. But for this movie, they switched to animation, as noted by the cute birds, that remind me of those seen in, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" 😎

I may have missed if you mentioned it, but I'm assuming you skipped Birds of Prey. It's actually pretty good and one of the plot points in that is Harley leaving The Joker. This movie assumes you've seen that, so doesn't front load that info.

I've petted them! I feed, Opossums, Raccoons, Skunks, Armadillos, and whatever other small mammals need to eat and drink, by setting out food and water for them. Birds, join in. They all take their turns. On snowy days, I've removed snow and ice from their fur, while they eat. Cats, used to be involved. I had to keep the adults from crushing the babies, when they would all try to put their heads into the feeder at the same time.
The dear, being herbivores, I left out, until I saw their tracks in some snow. So I put out, corn, for them. But, they never got a chance to feed, because the cattle would show up and eat the corn! In their excitement, some became cannibals I guess, whenever they are whatever type of cart food was in the feeder. Usually, it is "Special Kitty Outdoor Formula Cat Food", but I've had to substitute with other options. 🥺

Mark 8:35. Hmm. When I was growing up, "Rated R", meant at least one nude or semi-nude blonde in the movie, but now it seems to be more about profanity, violence, gore or whatever else constitutes an, "adult situation", and I'm still not used to that. Case in point, the reboot movie of, "Friday the 13th", was more about the violence and fright factor, than the more socially acceptable excuse to show, "T&A", that the original is.
But what confuses the issue about, nude blondes, at least to me, is that the original, "Clash of the Titans", is only, "Rated PG", and so I guess context does matter. 🤔
As for this movie, I'm not sure if the male exposure exists, because the scene is too dark and fast, though others have laughed and commented on it. As for the one pair of breasts, they look to me like someone wearing a, "Breast Vest", as a costume. People, wonder about, Margot Robbie, snowing off anything, other than her legs, but I haven't seen anything! 😁
In some of the comics Harley is a Meta human because Poison Ivy gave her some serum. She has super strength and agility.
About whether Harley is a meta or not, I just take it as the more popular a character is the more powerful in universe they become. Explains how Spider-Man became so physically strong on top of having his overpowered premonition powers, and how Wolverine's healing abilities got stronger and faster acting as the years went on, to the point where he can go from a fleshless skeleton to a reasonably complete human in mere minutes.

Mark 6:29. It still helps if you saw, "Birds of Prey", the movie not the series, after "Suicide Squad", and before this one. (Bonus! Actor David Jansen, has a helicopter chase movie, also called, "Birds of Prey".) But anyway, if you have seen the movies, "Patton" and "The Right Stuff", you should appreciate the homages to them, done by others since those movies debuted. 😎
Crocs are def very common prison footwear. Good in the shower/just walking around, no laces but sturdy, and it's REALLY hard to strangle someone or beat them to death with a croc.

Mark 50:00. When, "The Normies", saw her jiggle or bounce her way in, they all said in unison, "Fan service!" Maybe even, "Storm Akima", did that too? Various funny reáctions! At the movie theater, too many laughed so loudly, that I missed it, because I looked for something funny and I didn't see it, the first time. It took a second viewing for me to catch on to what the others thought was so funny. 😁. Instead, such a scene had me wondering why the leading gals weren't doing the same thing. 🤔
