Good guide! Some suggestions from someone who just did trio flawless VoG a couple weeks ago: For Templar, your relic holder can run something that can help the team do damage like Tractor or Gally if they aren’t planning on doing much damage themselves. 10 seconds is also a long time for the relic to sit on the ground, that gives a good amount of time to do damage as 3 people. Our relic holder was able to get off some bait and switch rocket rotations while also blocking teleports, and we killed just as the 2nd set of oracles were exploding. Dragon’s Breath also works well for players that don’t have a good legendary rocket (it’s what I used for trio flawless), and I’d pick that over a poorly rolled legendary rocket. For Gatekeepers, volatile explosions from a nearby enemy can also remove the Praetorian shield, such as a void Titan with their aspect Controlled Demolition. This does require 2 enemies to be grouped together, such as one of the goblins, but I’ve been told that can be easier than trying to push the Praetorians off. For Atheon, if you already have 2 warlocks with Verity’s, a void warlock and/or tractor is very useful, as debuffing grenades that do 500k damage each is huge (especially outside of this season when the artifact mods go away)! I also recommend that one of your Verity’s Warlocks get teleported, and the other stay in Atheon room to ensure you each can go into damage with 5 stacks. The enemies that spawn in the teleport rooms can be used in addition to the oracles to have stacks, and then it’s just a matter of watching your timer when doing damage. Good luck on your future trios and guides!
Pinning this because these are some great points, thanks for the response! I didn't even think about Dragons Breath, will probably start having on of my teammates run that for future dps encounters. I somehow didn't even think about tractor for atheon, will definitely be using that in the future :) . Random side note, when i was researching methods to trio dsc I think your video was one of the runs I watched to try and figure out the strategies from, so funny seeing you here haha
Really appreciate this guide! Not always easy to get a full 6 so knowing how to get it done with fewer guardians is awesome! Look forward to future guides
That means a lot to hear, and I am 100% making more guides! But just a heads up, kingsfall will probably be the last raid i cover, as from what i can tell its the hardest to trio. Im trying to make the guides in order from easiest to hardest, so sorry to disappoint with a long wait. I do hope to get to it eventually though!
I reccomend the relic holder in Venus in gatekeepers run a random kinetic weapon, forberance, and Gjallarhorn. You can stand by the steps of the portal and do practically everything from there. 2 gjally shots will kill the wyvern or you can gjally and forbearance. Forbearance for the waves of ads that spawn. When the praetorian spawns, you just run at it and kill it, then reset back to the spot. Basically fire your weapon -> reload -> pick up relic -> repeat. Additionally, whoever is outside doesn't have to defend the plates. You can hug the back of the wall (near the portal/glass throne thing). Have the people inside the portal call when the last wyvern/praetorian spawns and clear off the plates of the overload + kill the gatekeeper and open the portal.
that's what I did on our run, I'd toss out forbearance and witherhoard shots in between relic drops to clear the ads, then used apex predator to kill the wyverns, two shots each and all 3 guns are auto-loading so no issues there.
For those doing oracles, if you want to free up a heavy slot, you can use "the call" instead of xenophage, it also one shots the oracles. We cleared tonight using your guide as a basis for strategies, it worked great! thanks!
@@bryanmoberg8408 that’s amazing to hear! And great idea with the rocket sidearm, I haven’t really ran vogs since those came out so that’s really good information to know. Especially since now we have a solar special sidearm to proc death throes. I’ll definitely run that going forwards
Great guide and a lot of great tips! For Templar I would go over how to solo break detains with relic. Also you can plan to skip oracles as an alternative strategy. Templar spawns oracles every 2-3 teleport phases so you can just go hide in the middle and cleanse after the oracles break on their own.
You can also stasis freeze the shielded Minotaurs with conditional finality’s first shot. I haven’t low man’d this but I’ve solo’d mars before for random runs of VOG and have found conditional to be by far the easiest freeze method. I even run Solar for survival in case I mess up a push I can pop well and focus on pushing the Minotaur off the edge and sunbracers spam any adds that got close to the conflux
My team struggled with consitency on pushing the shielded minotaurs in the gate keeper encounter due to the adds spawning during the push and the minotaur glitching/hitting an invis wall/falling off the map. When going for flawless trio we found the easiest and safest way to do it is to simply perma freeze the minotaur with stasis warlock with osmiomancy and salvations grip, demolitionist weapon helps too. After the relic holder finishes his side he come back to main room and gives relic to the other person who runs into the portal to kill the minotaur. Then everyone meets in the main room to finish the encounter
Try run volatile method Make a goblin volatile push it to praetorian and kill the goblin whilst he’s volatile this will break the praetorians shield Make sure the goblins hugging the praetorian otherwise out won’t work
@@four321zero Absolutely! My team has triod Root of Nightmares, and are at Taniks for deep stone crypt. I have to get some footage for each, but I really hope to get some more guides out soon! Both seem to be fairly manageable for teams new to trioing which I’m really stoked about
As the player not in a portal on gk you can simply go afk and open the portals when needed, and on atheon you dont have to have 2 warlocks for verities as the encounter intrinsically gives higher ability regen during damage
I didnt even think about just waiting to open plates in gatekeepers, i like that idea! But yeah, as shadow said, verities gives bonus damage and much better grenade regen. The intrinsic buff times vengeance gives to ability regen speed alone is not enough to throw constant fusions
Conflux: use parasite it 1 shots wyverns at 2p worm stacks just kill them after a few seconds so they don’t respawn Templar relic holder drop well the other 2 use strand warlock super with 1 running gally with surges topped with double slug ophidians and the other necrotic grips rocket strand warlock. Relic holder does a bit of dps where they can Gatekeeper run volatile get a goblin with volatile place him next to praetorian and kill the goblins the shield will disappear then repeat 2 more times whilst relic is in Venus Atheon run verities brow die let your teammate revive you before he gets sent in call out and do encounter like normal if you don’t 1 phase run heat rises climb the vault stay up there until atheon sends in then repeat
For Templar right after you shoot relic super spam melee you’ll be able to break yourself out with relic hit before u get suspended and try do this for the rest of the hits after Templar hits negation
@@maxniemi4584 that’s a really good question! I would assume not as relic attacks are typically not considered by the game when proccing perks, even if they have melee attacks or such. However if I ever think about it I’ll try and test it out :)
All the specifics are at the end of the video, but main thing to note is verities + fusion base + touch of flame for insane grenade damage and regen. Make sure to run a solar weapon to get stacks of death throes
