This is the best Demo of the Console 1 on the Net....especially showing what the XL9000 K channel strip can do on "Drum Machine" style music. He really showed how you can sculpt your sound into that perfectly tightened club sound. After watching this video I was sold immediately and will be getting one. Again, he gave a perfect example not only of what the Console 1 is, but what it can do...10 out of 10 my man.
Sorry just saw your question. Yes I did and I love this thing. I will also be getting at least 2 of the new Console Faders also (for the way I work). My favorite feature is the Drive...I set it between 5 & 6 on every channel.
Just got this software module for my console 1 and while I'm still exploring the depth of it, I'd have to say, right off, it's amazing. Quite different from the 4000 and Class A modules and with all three in your arsenal, I'd say, you're ready to rock and roll. Thanks for the great video, as always. Cheers.
Just thought I'd check out the console 1 reviews again, and this review has definitely sold me on the c1 in combination with the XL 9000, tight isolation has got me looking forward to future mixing
Thank you for a nice video! The reason of the increment of the EQ is deliberate, there is much bigger diference in 50 to 51 Hz than between 2000 to 2001 (2 k - 2,001k) and there is no reason to have the same sensitivity the higher it goes. : )
Internal software instruments midi info. I have been in touch with softube and they think it may be something to do with logic configuring console 1 as midi input. Something to do with sysex. Apparently you can fix it on logic 9 but they can't find the option in x.
do you mean external midi data btw? an 'external midi' track sending midi date OUT of the sequencer? (I only have tried it using midi data triggering software instruments internally)
Well, of course the sound changes when you switch the Console insert off, you have EQ and other processing going on. If your REALLY want to "hear" the difference between the sound with and without the console you have to set everything flat.

Great Review very tight console! Would be awsome for them to start introducing tube consoles to the console 1 platorm!
you can load many of the softube models into the sections of Console 1

weird.
It's almost completely ridiculous that we now have access to tools like this for such a tiny amount of money
Do you find that all your led lights flicker randomly if you have midi data in your project?? I do!!
no i dont.

Sold!!
Anybody ever got an error 15 message with console?
👍🏽
A’right?
