Absolutely outstanding work, but I'd shy away from calling them "filler" episodes. If anything, many of the silly, supposedly inconsequential episodes of season 1 are called back on season 2, and with beautiful subtlety shown how they helped the characters grow

Honestly I’m glad someone (that I actually watch) finally did something about S1 of Amphibia because the only reason people ever watch it is for like the comic relief episodes, the finale, or the stuff that’s actually related to the plot.
Really? 90% of the fandom I’ve encountered are usually the “I only watch Amphibia for the plot” kind of guys.

I liked it a lot too! Maybe it’s silly.. but I really like filler episodes in TV shows because they help distract when things get too intense. When a show gets too deep into the plot it starts to get a little stressful for me (not that I don’t like the plot! I really do!) It’s kind of like taking a nice break from all the tension, in my opinion. 😅
Yeah, the first season was a good start (but I think personally, season 2 is the best season of the show)

but season one was really... enjoyable. It wasn't like idk SvtFoE first season I love the show but I would definitely skip season one but it's different with Amphibia, the first season even if it's kinda filler,was really enjoyable and gives lots of vibes! You can really have some time to just enjoy that silly adventures a bit to get out of all the complicated lore... impressive jog Amphibia crew! Whoever you guys are!
