You know, I view teenage/young women in children's media such as Anne, Luz, korra, star, mirabel, tulip, mei Lee, molly McGee and Marinette as big sister figures that both young boys and girls can look up to. And one of the things that possibly scares children in those shows is seeing that big sister figure in emotional pain, whenever they do bad things, show their inner darkness or are haunted and taunted cruely.
