Wow, that is something. He has the same month for his birthday as she does, and you have the same month as I do, and we are only a month apart in our wedding anniversary. What days in January and June?
Thanks for sharing. Love hearing the Cardinals singing. We got 32” of snow in Ligonier, Pa. We live at the base of the beautiful Laurel Mountains. Need to come visit sometime. God Bless!!!
I remember the blizzard of 93. I was 11 years old. We got close to 2 feet in Lincolnton. Around 21 inches or so if I remember right. I had a 1984 Honda ATC200 Big Red 3 wheeler, we had the time of our lives out riding that thing and pulling people on sleds. Was out of school for a week.
Very beautiful park. Very peaceful. I loved the water and the lake. The sound of water is so relaxing. The singing of the birds was beautiful. They were singing out a beautiful song of praise to their and our Creator. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us.
What a neat place. The whole area is picturesque with all the different types of plants and trees. My favorite are the Japanese maple trees. Ginger would say the rhododendrons and the azaleas are her faves. Thanks for sharing this gem .
Do you remember when that old swimming pool was actually still there, and the restaurant beside of it? Not sure how old you are. The sign said that the pool went out of use in 1975, but I remember it just sitting there for several years after that. It looked terrible. Very nice place now.
@@NCMemoryMakers , Moved from Newton to Cajah Mountain 6 yrs. ago so I don't know much about the pool.. We are around same ages .. keep them coming MB.
Thank you for sharing, it sure is beautiful and relaxing. I have to share the storm of century. I was giving birth to my youngest son in NC. It was bad!! When I was able to get up and look out the window oh my goodness I started praying because the cars had their windows blown out and power lines were down everywhere. Looked like a war zone. We always tell him that he was born in the storm of the century..March 12th 1993🤗💖
@cindydorroh9119 Wow, they had that much snow all the way down in the eastern part of the state? That's impressive. And we are very thankful for your family's service to our country.
@@NCMemoryMakers my sweet friend we didn't get snow here what we got was a storm that caused tornadoes and caused a north Eastern up your way. But thank y'all for thinking about this military family and prayers to the Marine that was killed here at home training in Carteret county a few days ago. 😭 . We are Camp Jejune Marine Corps base
Hey y’all, that park is beautiful, the plants & trees of those different varieties was a job well done by someone!! Very nice video! Y’all stay safe & thank y’all 🦫🦃🦌🦝🦫🦉🐝🐝
Beautiful place thanks for showing! Those are what we down here in SC call “bumble borers”. They are only interested in boring into wood. They looked like they were living in that bench. They will wreak havoc on a deck/porch! Love y’all!
Wow beauty of a park. We enjoy walking around like that. We have Lakeside Park close by our home. We enjoy it there in the warmer weather. They have the lake and the rose gardens there.
Being born and grown up in North Carolina, my family used to go and visit the furniture stores in different places because North Carolina had beautiful furniture
That was one I'll definitely never forget. Especially trying to drive home in it. I was very thankful those guys came by with that pickup truck that night, and pulled me out of the ditch. I didn't know what I was going to do.
Wish you had been there last night, where we could have run into you and said hello. We don't get up there as much as we should, but we really do enjoy it.
Wow, so your dogwoods have come and gone? I guess being towards the coast, it's warm enough down there that the blooms come in earlier. Thanks for watching! We appreciate it.
Said before my families from North Carolina, but rest of my families have passed away, so I’m kind of stuck here in Michigan with my grandson, but anyway they brought a pine tree from North Carolina one time and planted in the yard and they also brought the dogwood up here, but it didn’t surviveand a Sheeran from North Carolina also and that blooms every year it’s still beautiful
