Plus this game's setting in England and choice to use other languages in certain areas where appropriate (English, Russian and so on) suggests that they've set up an easy way of bringing it the west if they decide to. The only issue is that Ryuunosuke comes from Japan, which works in the Japanese games but not in the others and even that can be explained away as Phoenix having Japanese ancestry. I fail to see, apart from how well sales go, why they wouldn't localise it.

Layton VS Wright released when it did because Nintendo had to factor in Level 5's Layton series release schedule. I don't think we will see this game this year in the west, it should have been announced by now.
Judging by the amount of dialog and how it seems to have a more Japanese flair to it unlike every other Phoenix Wright game, I'd say it would take until next year to localize it.
At 1:55, you can see Ryuunosuke in a shot sweating at the prosecutor's side. I wonder if it actually means anything or if they just changed perspectives for that shot?
It's neither actually. It's only because the images are spinning, so we see it from behind or flipped. I mean, at 1:54, you can see that jury no. 1 (the bearded man with black top hat) is in the position of the old lady, and the maid is on his right when it supposed to be vice versa and seconds after that you can see Van Zieks in the defense's bench.
No need to worry guys. Seeing as this game is set in Japan and mostly in London, it should have a Western release, sooner or later. Personally too, I think it should really have a Western release because of the impressive English used in its English sentences...xD That's what I personally think, anyway. I wonder if they asked someone non-Japanese to help them with that kinda English...xD
