How Long Would Last? HOW YOU KEEP IT IN GOOD CONDITIONS? WHAT TYPE OF GLUE YOU USE? CAN YOU MAP ON IT OR USE SOMETHING ELSE? GOOD FOR ANIMALS AT THE HOUSE?
My concern stems from covering a board with marble look contact paper. I was very diligent about removing all air bubbles and after a few months, it began to bubble. I have had to spend a great deal of time smoothing out the bubbles. I would not want to have to worry about doing that on a floor.
Sounds like moisture was on the board within it. Might be the brand of contact paper. You can always use a transparent layer first and apply over the top❤ try a test area 2x2 feet in a space that gets hot and cold like a normal zone would to account for shrinkage and expansion. See how you like it and go from there ❤❤❤
How easily does this come off when I am ready to move? Does anyone have experience and will it leave a residue? The kitchen floor in my soon to be “new” apartment is inexpensive vinyl.
Did you level the grout/tile line first so that you don’t seek the tile outlines under the wallpaper? I want to do this in kitchen but I have tile that I would be covering and am concerned about seeing the lines through it
Do you need to add a varnish or a resin over this. If so does everything need to be removed from the room as want to do my bedroom but I have no space to put the furniture. Any advise welcome.x
Girl no! There’s no way this will hold up OR be safe! It’s plastic sticky paper and you’re covering ceramic tiles? I think you do this crap for comments
I also wants to cover my tiles downstairs because they get dirty easily and very cold was thinking to cover with wood or laminate, does anyone know some cheaper alternative. Thanks
This is what my old apartment used on their floors 🙄 They wanted to charge me because moving furniture around tore it.. Like what make it make sense assholes 🤣
Plan to pay a premium to your landlord as this material does not come up easily. Also don't plan to mop and clean like a regular floor as it will not hold up. Bad idea.
Your calling it renter friendly. Bull, most landlords will be upset it you did this to their terrazzo, or expensive ceramic floor tiles. When you try to get this up, it leaves adhesive behind and makes a sticky mess. It is temporary and does not hold up well. Often requires a razor blade scraper to get it all up and a lot of labor for which tenants would be held responsible. Putting it down over cheap worn vinyl tile probably would not get such a response though.
the clue is in the name.... contact PAPER..... i would never recommend using paper as flooring... crap idea.... would else would you expect from a woman... lol...
For people asking about what kind it is, it's Veelike Wallpaper. ❤
What brand is this paper? Where did you get it, is it slippery? You are doing a beautiful job
😲 I've never seen this! How long does it last? How do you protect it? It looks so good!
How do you clean it and it not just start peeling everywhere... great idea but feel it will look good for a minimal time..
Had mine for 6 years and still looks the same as first done,l go over it with a damp flat mop.
@patriciagallacher2905
How can you not go over it with the Mop and not bring up an edge
I mean it looks crazy awesome!
@@patriciagallacher2905 if we wnat to remove it is it easy it will not damage the floor???

Would look great on my wall
yeah I would think walls not floors
I wouldn’t put this on a wall because it will probably rip paint when removing
@@Beingthebloomss where did you get it from? Thanks in advance
But the tiles underneath look soo nice.
It’s amazing tile but it’s hard to keep the grout white, I have it in my kitchen
Looks fab.

Does it not show the grout line from underneath

Waste of time, over tile, what!
SHE LIKES TO MAKE VIDEOS BUT DON'T ANSWER QUESTIONS
@@stbam1965 I just said the exact same thing to my husband, which is why I'm giving this a thumbs down.
Great idea!
That is fabulous
Please give info on where to buy this flooring paper… I want to do this in my bedroom
Omg I need the link for this product
Girl you did that ❤❤❤❤❤
That's an awesome idea and you can change it anytime you want to
Oh my goodness the transformation is wonderful it turned out beautifully can you say where you got it from
I have been thinking of doing exactly this!!! But how well does it hold up???
This is for a room that you never walk in. I could see my high heels tearing this paper up
😂😂😂😂
Just don't wear shoes in the house
Some ppl rent and want to fix up place
I mean, it’s much stronger than paper as it’s textured vinyl, so as long as ur not dragging your heels across it, I don’t see it ripping. ❤
This is Genius, I love ❤️ it
Awesome
Link to product?
Some of that contact paper is almost impossible to remove. Looks nice.
Heat gun
You put that over tile?
Looks like you will slip on it because it is too smooth
Where did you get this?

What do you do if there is damage (dents & groves) on your base floor?😢😢
can we use this in garage and drive/park car on it?
The tile looks better
Do you need to add a varnish or a resin over this. If so does everything need to be removed from the room as want to do my bedroom but I have no space to put the furniture. Any advise welcome.x
Do you seal it whether anything?
You put that over tile?!?!?!?!
Nice. But I am afraid it won't last....can you give us an update pls
The tile grout lines are going to show through the contact paper. Waste of money and time
Over line it ? So it’s bumpy and not smoot at the seems ?

Girl no! There’s no way this will hold up OR be safe! It’s plastic sticky paper and you’re covering ceramic tiles? I think you do this crap for comments
