Me personally, having gone in knowing this was a 2 parter, and that it would end on that "To Be Continued" line, I was thinking this would be the perfect place to stop the story for now. The chess pieces feel set for what I am expecting will be nothing less than the best animated movie of all time. Seriously though, please don't crunch your animators Lord, Miller, and Pascual.
Because it didn't. They removed the "Part 1" from the title (in the US anyway) months before the release of the film. The Fandango Listing (as well as my ticket) omit the "Part 1" as well.
I know it’s almost felt personal when Miguel said that, also the part where it repeats when Miguel was talking about Peter Parker is so sad. Like in the scene miles was swinging it repeated the line but it added the Peter Parker dialogue. Miguel voice cracked in that line inferring that Miguel actually knew him before his death.
I watched this movie alone in my room on my laptop back in July 😭 omg this is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. When it said To Be Continued I was about to start crying but I sort of expected it lol. ♾️/10 movie 🍿
I havent expirienced a cliffhanger quite like this before. I've never had so many questions waiting to be answered, and im glad this movie exists so i can be part of the speculation. I cant wait for the third movie.
My theory is that prowler Miles is going to end up helping our Miles in the third movie. Or our Miles is going to try to help their Earth because he feels guilty that their earth has no spider man because the spider bit him instead. Maybe not even guilt, maybe more because of the fact that Miles is a good kid...I mean good Spider MAN 😅 and in the flashback they showed Prowler Miles wasnt a bad kid, he was sitting down somewhere drawing. He only ended up the way he did because of his circumstances (dad died criminal uncle took him under his wing when he was in a vulnerable mindset). He has good in him deep down and I really hope they show that I'm the third movie. He could end up being a surprise hero helping Miles, Gwen, and the gang save his dad, stop Miguel, and stop Spot. Also I think Miguel is sacrificing himself in the third movie. I feel like that's a pretty obvious prediction. Someone please reply to my comment 3 years from now when the third movie comes out to let me know if my theories/predictions were true 😅
I don't think Prowler Miles is a bad dude. His dimension doesn't have a Spider Man due to the LHC sucking up the spider. I think he's fighting against the Sinister Six as we hear in the background when we first see Prowler Miles.
No it’s not if you had iq or any sense of story you would know how simple and easy this whole plot is, that you can literally guess the next movie whole
Still, as an artist myself, I would rather it be delayed indefinitely for the sake of keeping the animators healthy and sane (as well as the directors and producers) and have the movie be worth the wait. I am confident that Beyond the Spider-Verse will stand toe to toe with Ghibli's Spirited Away and Dreamwork's The Prince of Egypt, Pixar's Wall-E, and Disney's Beauty and the Beast as a contendor for the best animated movie ever made. I haven't felt this confident in any movie ever. Not even as much for Endgame. But, I do not want the writers, animators, actors, and everyone else working on the movie to be overworking themselves to make that happen in 9 months. If they must delay the movie indefinitely to make it happen for now, then let it happen.
I'm thinking late 2025 since they have done 10% so now then can finish the other 90% in 2 years so prob December 2025 but it will depend since we will have spiderman 4 coming out the same year
I really wish and hope that Beyond The Spider-Verse is at least 3hrs long and probably gets a PG-13 maybe if they want to. If it does happen, I also hope Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard returns as Gwen, but as Spider-Gwen in a different universe. I also hope Miles Brown play a live-action Miles Morales with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man as his mentor, and I think that Caleb McLaughlin should play a live-action Spider-Punk with Daniel Kaluuya as Spider-Punk and Shameik Moore as Miles Morales in a different universe. Fr, I feel like they should have live action segments in this movie because they’re actually was a live action part in the movie with spot. In the scene where he tests out his powers and meets mrs. Chen. And since it’s titled beyond the spider verse maybe they will see more realities where there is no Spider-Man. Maybe live action venom will be in the movie. They will be in prowler Miles’s universe so I feel like it will be interesting to see the characters in that universe. Maybe they will see like a crime and all of them will try to stop it and with there being no Spider-Man people will think they’re all weird.
I’m not gonna lie Beyond The Spider Verse Being 3 hours sounds amazing but I think they’ll at least go close to it like 2 hours and 40 or 50 something minutes
I don't get it, why are ppl mad about a tbc? You wanted all the emotional beats to be rapped up in 10 minutes rather than waiting to get a truly fleshed out story that hits every emotional beat with the pay off it deserves?
Whole movie was so guessable, you can predict everything which made it so boring, also since this movie is nothing but build up for the next one. But it was pretty good, definitely not rewatching it since it’s borning as fuck But seeing spectacular Spider-Man was good, haven’t seen him since 2009….but have rewatched a few episodes in like 2015 But overall I’ll give it a 62% it’s not deserving of a 95% rotten tomatoes, it’s not that good
