Love the MJs bro, I got about 50 inserts of his I've been buying it took me about 1 yr to find what I thought were perfect raw cards of his and I'm getting ready to send them to PSA I'm so nervous they will screw me on grades but imo they all look like 9s minimum. They are nice cards nothing crazy but PSA 10s would be in the $300-1,200 range if I could pull it off . The most expensive raw one I bought was only like $70
From what I’ve noticed lately, PSA is grading Jordan’s accurately and honestly. Your nice Jordan’s should get the grades they deserve 🙌 I don’t anticipate them screwing you 👍 Good luck! Thanks for watching my vid
on the Julius Randle silver, look how much more white there is on bottom left compared to white space at bottom right...9 def the proper grade....and the centering is off on those black refractors as well...PSA much tougher on centering than they used to be...I'm happy they changed...congrats on some nice grades
I like this reveal style as a change of pace. Nice results pal & I like that poster overhead as it reminds me of the PSA 9 card I have. Dustin knows grading! 🙌😆

Too many noobs think that _EVERY...SINGLE...CARD_ ....that doesn't get a 10; the grader must be (example) blind,...a moron,....crooked, etc. That being said, that J-RIZZLE card....around the 4:40 mark, is (respectfully) _clearly_ OC,....L/R. I'd reason to guesstimate; at least....60/40. And while that's obviously within the variances/thresholds of front centering with PSA,....as you know,...if there's even the _SLIGHTEST_ of flaws beyond that allowance, they're gonna' knock ya' (us). I totally agree with your assessment of that Julius Randle card 👌 And thanks for the kind words. There are a lot of people that have unrealistic expectations of their cards 😬 I measured the Randle and it’s around 58/42, and didn’t notice any other flaw when submitting, that’s why I graded it. But with the card being 10 years old and centering just barely gem tolerance I should have assumed a 9. That was my bad. But a different grader, a different day, that could have been a gem 10 👍 thanks for the comment!

The vast majority of my subs are Ultra Modern, and I'm _hyper-critical_ when noting the condition of the cards I send to PSA. If there's even the _slightest bit_ of a flaw, I generally will knock my pre-grade down to a 9. Long story short, like you, (humbly) I'm pretty good when it comes to pre-grades, vs actual grades, received. Last November, I was _COMPLETELY_ *GOBSMACKED* when....not only were my pre-grades/grades ...."off the mark", they were _TOTALLY_ unfounded, unfair, and....quite frankly,...unreasonable. Long story short; my gem rate on subs of 20+ cards hovers around the 76% mark. I don't have the spreadsheet on this computer, but I know that my overall gem number....dating back to 2018 (when I got back into cards) is 68 or 69%. I had a 17 card order where I pre-graded the cards at (12) 10's,....and (5) 9's. The grades I received: _FOUR_ 10's ,.... _NINE_ 9's ,....and _FOUR_ *8's* !?!?! Humbly,...in 1,100+ total Ultra Modern cards that I had subbed to that point, I had only ever received 18 , _ PSA 8's, and...quite frankly, all but maybe 1 or 2 of them, were valid. The results from that specific, November order, in question, would suggest that I had either gone _BLIND_ in one eye,....and couldn't see out of the other,....it was my first time at the rodeo,.....or,...that I had _no idea_ about what I was doing. None of the three, (obviously) applied. That leaves me to _ONLY_ question; *THE GRADER* !?! Was _HE_ ,..."a noob" ? Un[der]qualified....? Did his dog get hit by a car....?? Wife, steppin' out on him....?? Bad day, in general?!? Because, again; the grades were _COMPLETELY_ indefensible! I took an absolute _BEATING_ on that particular order; *NO WAY* I'd even get _close_ to recouping value/grading fees/etc., let alone....getting back to par, but the moral of this long...drawn-out, ramble-babble _IS_ ,...just as you say: *ANOTHER DAY,...ANOTHER GRADER* . The situation with this particular submission/grader [ *KNOCK ON WOOD* ] was/has been....an anomaly! I never had....and haven't, since.....received grades that were so entirely. _INEXPLICABLE_ and _RIDICULOUS_ ,...and 🤞🤞🤞🤞, I never will,...going forward! I have a 40 card order that should pop (literally!) any day now,...another 22 in the "arrival" stage,...and (hopefully) another 50+ that'll go out, next week....after I bust my 2024 Topps Baseball cases. I think card grading is so fun because it''s such a balance between hard work, hobby experience, submitting skills, and pure luck. Overall I feel PSA is pretty consistent, but yes, you will get the occasional rough order, sorry to hear about yours. I always say you take the good with the bad, because sometimes you get that order where PSA over-grades your stuff :) I like those orders lol. I had about 100 of those black refractors I’m grading this month for their special. I did break them up into 10-20 per order, but didn’t give much thought into not putting them all in a row. I guess I could try staggering them next time 👌 Thanks for the comment and watching!
