In this one I hit the Victorian high country and start off in Mansfield and head to Dargo.
On the way I stay in Bluff hut, Upper Jamieson hut and head up to Lovicks for a look then we move on to part 2.

Well every time I watch your shows I am envious of where you are and brings back some great memories, I moved to Qld in mid 70's and there are some good tracks here there is nothing like the Vic High Country, keep it up mate and thanks . Cheers

I think I was a day or two behind you mate, we stayed in Bluff Hut on the Tuesday of this week. I used your stubby holder hung above the fire for the evening and put it back. Love the videos mate, keep it up 👌🏼

Nice little trip so far mate ! Upper Jamieson hut is my fav hut and just getting in there as you say, can be quite a challenge, although its made alot easier than years ago.
I will be waiting for Pt 2 along with the others mate.

Cheers Louie, works a treat drying the wood like that mate. Do the same trick a lot just have to keep an eye on it or the fire end up a lot large than expected 😂 I've always had the snorkel around that way mate, One day I turned it to keep out dirt and just left it like that 👍 Glad you're enjoying the content mate cheers 👍

Another great video. It wasn't all that long ago I was strapped finding some firewood along Cairn Creek track !! BTW, please don't get too casual with the Stihl, that's exactly when they bite you.

Great video mate, enjoyed watching it with a frothy in my new Bush TV stubby holder! Im heading down to Dargo very soon, never been there before. Any good spots to camp you could suggest?

What program/app etc do you use to put your videos together (edit, add music etc). Just got back from a weekend at Dargo mate and would love to put something together!!

A bit of a squirt at 12.37 too though! Also, I did the pesky heater hose bypass. If it ever poops itself on the track it will be a ten minute fix max.
Yeah she's getting a bit tired mate. Ive had the silly hose on the bottom of the block let go in the bush. That was fun
You going to do a rebuild? Mine has just done 400k and is doing great, although I did the head last year in prep for a turbo but won’t bother now. If you’re going to keep the 80 look into the PHH bypass, seriously it will be a ten minute job if it ever lets go. And you can manage it from the top.

What type of radio’s do you run, l notice you have two antenna’s.
Oricom mate, one is for the normal radio but before that it was on a 27 meg radio 👍
@@Bush-Tv well l run the same,l have the 27 meg still connected and when l camp l have a portable station master some 4.5 m high, it’s a mazing how many people are still on 27 meg.
Yeah nice, I use to have a 60 foot pole with an Itron ar the top for a home base. (good old days)
I have thought about throwing In another 27 meg with SSB in the Rig. Might look into that mate
