There sure is no shortage of fantastic spots in the High Country, thanks for the video.
100% mate, glad you enjoyed
Well done on the spuds !!
Thanks mate, love a baked spud
VFL park - because during construction the road switchback was so big they could play a game of footy on it.
There are many interesting named locations along Ritchies Road.
The whole length of the road is currently being graded…it’ll be like a highway now!
That's info I haven't herd before But good info mate, Ritchie's Rd is already a hwy, Just an overgrown one, Thanks for the feedback mate. Was nice to meet you that day on the Rd
Love the added Bloopers roll. 🤣
hahaha Thanks mate 👍 Glad you enjoyed 👍
Great work on the vid. Enjoyed the serenity stint in the middle as that's what high country is all about

Great vid Bushy. Cracker day for Blue Rag, chose it well. I laughed at the B Roll food camera comment (from the other outdoor chef which I watch as well lol). Funny bloopers as well. Keep up the good work.
Glad you enjoyed it mate, yeah dam camera haha, Blue Rag was in its prime that day mate 👍👍
Absolutely love it mate!! Best content going around 😁 and love the bloopers 😂 keep it up 🍻

You won the weather lottery at Blue Rag for sure. Nice one.
100% mate 👍
Good on ya Daniel - love your show
Our family spent every opportunity out in nature and it’s still very important to me - I urge everyone to get out there as much as you can
Thanks mate, connecting with nature is very important as it brings us back to our natural state of mind 👍
Really enjoying the series. Great episode. Fantastic views with the drone footage too. Keen to hear what VFL park is all about! Keeping it real with the bloopers too!! Loving your work!!!
Thanks! Will do! Yeah interested in the VFL park info as well,
Cheers for watching mate
Just had a awesome drive from Buckland valley up tp Mt Murray then across to blue rag and camped at devils hollow absolutely loved it
done over a couple nights of course
Spot on drive that one mate 👌
Hey there brother. I saw you on that day at Blue Rag. I spoke to you when you made it down that first long decent & onto the plateau on the way back out. I was in the black 90 series Prado just behind the group with the Patrol Hub guy. Had a quick chat about being a subscriber & suggested that little cut out off the Dargo High Plains Rd for a great little secluded campsite. Now I see where you went. You're right when you said that it doesn't get any better than that day. Absolutely spectacular day for the visit. Hope to see you out there again sometime. Would be great to have a yarn over a couple of beers at a campfire. Love your videos. Making it real. Catch you next time brother. 👊
G'day mate, Yeah I remember you 👍 There's another great spot on blue rag near the High plains Rd as well, It was a toss up between that and Devils, Absolute cracking day that one mate.
Glad you enjoy all the vids mate hopefully see you out there again 👍👍
Think you had a few extras tinnies while waiting for those spuds mate. 😂. Love your videos
Haha, it's not hard to do mate 👍
Glad you enjoyed 👍
Great stuff again! Two of my favourite places in all of High Country. No matter how many times you drive Blue Rag the last few hundred metres to the top is always such a buzz. And Devils Hollow what a top spot in the right weather ........ hate to be camping up there if it ever turned nasty though. Few black snakes up there too ..... keep the swag zippered! Hope u enjoyed the frothys! Cheers.
Absolutely! You just know what your in for on the last bit of the track 👌 Lots of snake up there. Glad you enjoyed the vid 👍👍
Cracking video buddy, awesome spot 👌
100% mate, as long as it's good weather 👍
Great effort.
Many thanks mate 👍
I remember growing up in Bairnsdale.
We used to get up the Nicholson all the time.
Yahoo, Deptford.
Beautiful country, but always rubbish in the bush, and poo tickets everywhere.
It sent me absolutely spare.
For the last 30 years I've been hiking into some very remote country.
No rubbish, no nothing.
Absolutely pristine.
Tell you what, I wouldn't mind dropping straight off Devils Hollow and into the Dargo valley.
What gorgeous country.
Absolutely a pet hate for me is the disrespect some have for the bush mate.
Almost rolled out the swag in someone's nugget once, have you been to the bottom of Bryce's gorge
@@Bush-Tv Not yet mate.
I should get in there before I'm too old.
I've heard the easiest route is drop straight off Dimmicks lookout down to the creek, then head upstream to the falls.
Definitely a good place to carry an EPIRB.
@@andrewwatkins2886 yeah sounds good, could imagine how good it would be down there.
Apparently there was bones found somewhere down there in the 70s
Wouldn't surprise me at all.
There's some cracking spots where you could bust your leg and it's all over.
I was in Shaw's CK gorge years ago, and it was that slippery and I was knackered and uncoordinated.
I thought I was going to die in that place. Love your videos mate.
It gets me wanting to hit the high country asap
@@andrewwatkins2886 yeah can overcome you very fast.
Glad you enjoy mate 👍👍
Another great video mate, how good is the high country ,beautiful 🇮🇪 🇦🇺
fantastic up there mate that's for sure 👍
You got the weather gods on side for blue rag Love the drone footage Be interested to know the history behind the VFL Park sign
Oh absolutely mate, The one I just got back on was a bit gloomy but still no rain 👍👍
haha, last time I was at blue rag was also 2009... they've bent up the trig point legs a bit since then... and you've gotta drown it in gravy, its just better..
Yeah they sure have mate, Just my gravy mate 👌
One of my fav spots up at Devils hollow. Bloody shits me to tears when ya get people pull up right next to you and camp, always Melbounians, must be used to being around people ro much or they are scared to be alone! Ive seen that VFL park sign on the rooftop maps and always wondered what thats all about, hopefully someone can tell us.
Good vid mate.
Sure is a cracker up there mate, I just got back from another one and got bombarded again by people, and the spot is really secluded as well.
Yeah still not sure what the VLF Park sign is indicating yet, Be good to know.
It is the Blur rag after a few froffies😂
haha, Yeah I would say so mate, its been fixed as well 👍👍
Now listen here young fella, if you ever stop making these videos in the high country you will be in big trouble, OK !!!, I have saved your early episodes and when I get the urge to look at the high country I have a goog at these so keep it up and you take care Cheers Wappy
Hahaha! thanks mate 👍 Ill keep them coming 👍 Lots to see up there that's for sure really glad you enjoy 👍
Few froths at Devils Hollow I reckon mate.
You looked very tranquil.😂
Not really to be honest 🤣 I was very worn out (tired) that's why I had saw eyes 👍
Great viewing mate
I’m not sure about all that sour cream though
Kill a dead dog
Thanks for sharing mate
Glad you enjoyed mate, Love the old sour cream hahaha
What's King spur track like getting into DH?
Can you get In With an off-road 14ft van?
Thanks for a great vid
Thanks mate glad you enjoy, I would say maybe for that one mate. Weather permitting 👍
7:20 heheh 😶🌫
What's at 7:20 mate 👍
@@Bush-Tv check the hat on trig 😜
@@AllTerrainAction hahaha, good pick up 🤣🤣👍
That deserves a sticker mate, pm me your address on Facebook if ya want one 🤣👍👍
They could of thought you were the button man
Maybe haha except I don't drive an Orange 60 series hahaha
Off ya face in this one
No I wasn't mate, just very tired that's why I had red eyes, a lot goes on behind the scenes that not a lot will understand 👍
*makannya duduk dong BRO🙄😕🤗*
Haha General do 👍
Any hints about VFL park ?
Apparently it's when they made the switch back, the called it VFL park due to the size of it 😂
Hi, just wondering if you've done any trips around Tumut, Tumbarumba, Corryong way? Were thinking of heading down that way this March/April. Thank you for any ideas.
G'day Sylvia, I got some plans to get out that way but at this stage I've only done Limestone to Corryong but I believe the track is now closed both sides of Davies plains hut
Many thanks, we so very much enjoy your simple trips/camps. Shame about Davies Plain track.
@sylviakaberry6645 really glad you enjoy, yeah it is a shame, it's a great spot in there.
I have done a video through there, let me know if you have seen it 👍
Yes, I've seen your video of Davies plains hut. It looked a very pretty part of the country. Anyway, take care of yourself😊
@@sylviakaberry6645 another channel does a lot up the Snowy Mountains Region as well as the VHC, you could probably look at his channel for some ideas, A Guy and his Troopy
Another rippa
Cheers Gav 👍
Did ya drop in to the Harrietville Bakery? Swiss chef... best pies and vanilla slices in the VHC...
Oh no I didn't mate, But next time I will for sure 👍👍
Quick question. Which drone do you use? I'm looking at getting one for recording trips & I want one that has quality video like yours, & that I can be confident in flying in High Country winds. TIA.
G'day mate, the drone is a DJI Pro Mini 3 👌
@@Bush-Tv Thanks for getting back to me. That's perfect. Exactly the one I have been looking at. 😊
@@jamespledger4095 no probs mate 👍
