Great cover as usual 🔥 Quick question : when you switch to left foot during the slow blast at 1:23, is it so that your right leg can rest a bit, or just for fun?
I don't know, I recorded the cover one year ago, but I forgot to upload it, hahaha :) But Usually, as you're saying I do this because of fun and because of resting with my other leg.
Im about to do a napalm death harmony corruption drum cover nice job great band i saw live a few times back in the day also vital remains from rhode island was one of the best bands ever
Bill Andrews played better on Leprosy than on Spiritual IMHO. But the overall sound of the drums on Spiritual was far better IMHO, maybe even better than the sound on Human.
Thanks for professional criticism, but where did you saw a mistake? I always play as the original song. I wrote drum notation from the original song and play hit by hit. But yes, we can't hear everything 100% correct as it was played, because of mixing, but I do my best to write close as possible to the original. And If I miss one stroke I go from the beginning! I'm making different drum covers than most drummers who improvise to the songs. Actually don't know anyone who does this silly thing like me all the time. I want to show how the original drumming looks like on the records. So if you have original drum notation I would be more than happy if you can share this masterpiece with us ;) Enjoy and thanks for watching.
@@SimonSkrlec I heard two fills which I can't remember from the original song. I believe that at 3:51 you should hit a crash cymbal instead of hihat. And the fill at 4:58 should be more fluent and not so mechanical or careless like Lars :P I mean, I hear it in the original, but it's maybe just me. But as far as I'm concerned, this cover is one of the best drum covers of Leprosy, maybe the best one yet. So keep it up and blast those drums man!
@@SimonSkrlec As a drummer myself; I do love seeing other drummers perform covers of songs I don't know so I can learn and improve my technique It keeps me fascinated learning music I didn't know other than sheet music.
