Don't forget to use cs50ai model while taking the course, it gives better answers than other ai models and just searching it. It helped me wrap my head around some subjects in CS that were not even in the course.
I hope you get them to use -fsanitize=address -fsanitize=undefined, I would recommend any beginner to C to use these to keep their sanity and learn all about the fun stuff like out of bounds access and undefined behaviour.
@@I_love_flowers_uwu yea but it is suggested to go with C then branch off when starting to learn programming that is. that is why you are often times dont see introductions not have C

I have a question let say I want to take the course now but I won't be able to afford the certificate till next year. When that time comes will I still need to take the course again or does the fact that I have taken and complete the course mean that I just need to play for the certificate only
You have an account, that says you finished all the assignments. When you’re ready to pay for the certification , go ahead and pay. Your work will still be paid here. Hope that helps.
Right now you can understand that 'gcc' is a compiler, it's the program that can turn the source code into machine code. While 'make' on the other hand is a tool that initiates 'gcc' to compile code, it doesn't do it, it tells 'gcc' to do it. And you'll learn later in the course that it also gives more details to the compiler about how to compile. Using 'make' is always easier, the 'gcc' code may seem cryptic to beginners! Hope it helped.
@@notflame4xd-934 Nicely Explained. Thank you for the information, since I learn programming in C about 8 yeara ago, I haven't used make to compile a C code except for make install in some opencv library
