I've been runnig the R7 since release, and it is an underrsted beast. I got the Sigma 18-35, Canon EF 70-200 2.8L non-IS v1, Sigma 150-600C, and more recently the RFS 10-18 pancake. I'm about to own an Epson XP970 to do prints. Hope this camera works out for you.
Great video!! what lens are you rockin? I was thinking about getting either the r8 or r7 for a second camera. I do love the full frame though.. keep up the good work
For this video I was using the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8, really solid lens!! Full frame is great and all…but don’t put too much shade on the R7🥹 Thank you for the encouragement and comment lol
I also really like my R7. Been using it for photography since I got it, but have recently gotten into video. I'm excited to see what it can do there :)
Ooo, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! I just recently posted a 6 month update on my experience, if you want to check that out! th-cam.com/video/sABjBnVfZVM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9Pe8dpBnJRa5IZjp
@Micah David. I can see you have IBIS wobble when you and your visit Jupiter in the desert lol. In the video. Can you see it? Have you found a fix for it? Thanks Micah!
Oh, how can I miss the such noticeable wobble!! At least in regards to my R7, I haven't necessarily found any "fixes," but there are different ways to avoid getting so much, if not any wobble! Ways like adapting an EF or EF-S lens to that RF mount, inputting a different focal length on the camera than the actual focal length on a manual focus lens and I bet there's more. If absolutely nothing works we can always try complaining to Canon about a firmware update...
for me Canon r7 is an underdeveloped design, the kind of concept that will be patched by this company for the next 3 generations, of course, lavishly making money on it ....
Love my R7! Great video 🙌🏼 & That 18-35mm is so fire
#R7isgoodenough lol, and yeah the 18-35mm is a very solid lens!

When you take video with Your friend what Camera that you use? If you using R7 what lens that you use?
Yes, I am using the R7 in those clips. I believe I was using the 16mm RF lens!
Your reasons for getting the R7 were exactly the same as mine. I LOVE it. Nice video.
Thank you so much! Means alot!

@@micahdavidco I certainly have haha. I've actually had it for 1.5 years now so almost since it came out. I'll check it out tomorrow!
You can't see any difference from a full frame 24mp to the R7 33mp from what I've seen online.
Its very minimal sometimes, other times you can tell the difference lol
i like the crop too bro
I’m glad I’m not the only one lol
i have the canon r6 and the r50, so not quite the r7 but i really like the extra reach. on the r50@@micahdavidco
