That framed picture was so good. Girl, spraying books, oy. Librarians out there have a heart attack 🤣
The canvas was my favorite! I'm shocked at how much it resembles the $900 piece AND you had a blast doing it. Bravo!
Painting the books is BRILLIANT! Love this idea
The canvas looks great! No one needs to be an artist to do that- looks like fun!
I ❤ the Gold bowl... so glad you showed how to paint black first. Can not wait to try this.
These flips look BEAUTIFUL in your home🎨✨🙌Spraying magic with your FLEXiO sprayer!
Favorite flip is the artwork for sure!
My fav was the DIY'd huge canvas. It turned out so well. Great job.
The artwork actually turned out better than the $800 inspiration pic
I love ALL of these items!!!! Just a great job you did!!!!
My least favorite is the canvas. My favorite is the gold bowl; I didn't know a black base made it look better--good to know. Thanks too for the Wagner spray tips.
Gold vessel and that CANVAS! Total score! Thanks for the step by step on your process with your tools.
I've done this art dupe 3 years ago and love it
Gold guilding wax is such a cool product! Love the outcome it gave ❤ And your canvas do over is gorgeous TFS
Love the change to the canvas! So cool!
😊😊
The art is number1 and the gold dish is a close second. Loved this video. Thank you so much!
You’ve totally inspired me with the canvas!
Great transformations!! The bowl caught my eye and I'd like to add an FYI. Your bowl looks like s Nambe' piece. Like much of Wilton Armetale, Nambe' pieces are made of an alloy of about 8 ingredients. What is wonderful about this alloy is the greatly extended retention time of heat or cold. The item can go into an oven or freezer and the retain heat ( or cold) they take on stays for hours in normal temperatures. I've served a hot chili/cream cheese dip in Nambe' at a party which stayed hot to warm for 5-6 hours. I've served chilled fruit on a platter as patio picnic food. The platter was cold long after the fruit was consumed. Just sponge wash and rinse - no scrubbing. Great stuff.
So impressed by the canvas art that you did! Also loved the simple chalk paint vase as well.😍
I love the art as well, but the bowl was my favorite!
Thought you were going to use the canvas for upholstery. Maybe in the future for dining room chairs, or an old Victorian large chair. Like a parlor chair, something not popular and make it interesting.
Wonderful thrift flips! I love the idea of painting black and finishing with gold building wax. Another great video! Thank you for the inspiration, Christina!
It is one of my favorite techniques. It works magic on frames. 😊 Thanks for watching.
The canvas art!
Loved the vase and art
The golden bowl is beautiful. I have to say, you are pretty staunch with your aesthetic. The terra cotta color would have worked nicely . Take care Humboldt County USA 🌲🦸🤸🧚🤪
The art is so great!
Love the canvas
What a great video! Helped with ideas and using the sprayer
Your passion for your subject is contagious.
Love the art!
The art is everything
The art piece is just stunning! Love it.
Thank you! I can't believe how much I like it! ❤️
Love them all! I have that silver bowl. It was a wedding gift forever ago. Love what you did with it! Great idea
You’re amazing! I love watching your videos. Everything was great, but yes, for sure the canvas was the queen ! I’m still holding onto my brand new, in the box 2-yr old paint sprayer that I’ve been to afraid to try LOL. This video was VERY helpful in overcoming the fear 💛
Get that sprayer out! Starting with small item like this will help you build your confidence!
Sooo cool! 😎🤩
Definitely the art 😊
Definitely love the art and the gold bowl …thank you for sharing 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Yes, my favorite was the art. You just gave me ideas. Thanks
Awesome! Thank you!
All of them!!!!!
Great job! Love the art.
Thank you! Me, too.
Books: I still have my college books which are long time way outdated by now and not worth selling anymore, but repurposing them like this sounds doable. I might invent a funny title, kooky author name that will give my more observant guests a giggle and use my Silhouette/Cameo to stencil it on the spine neatly, maybe add a crest or something extra. Also, I may try my hand at making a secret/hidden hide-y hole in one of the bigger books. Oh no! Another project, Lord help me!!!
That sounds fun!
Omg I love this idea!!! If you have a cricut the options are endless
$900 for a white canvas smeared with gunk? DIYing it yourself was the right move. For me, blanking out a giant canvas would be a good start my own painting?
love this so much. Always inspired by you! thank you!! thrifting for a large canvas this week! P.S. What paint did color did you use on your wall in your dining room?
Nice!!
Thanks!
❤
The chalk paint won’t chip off? Love them all but the painting is my fav.
LOVE all your Ryobi tools my friends are always making fun of all my Ryobi tools LOL
I don't understand people who make fun of tools. Not all of us need professional grade tools. I love my Ryobi tools, too!
Luv to watch you thrift, i really loved the gold bowl, was that dixie belle gold gilding wax? Your big picture frame was really awesome! Yes my mother in law was with us for almost 3 years, the last 3 month were really hard, i am a retired R.N., so we choose to bring her here. Great job on the flips!
Yes, it is the Dixie Belle gilding wax, but Rub and Buff would work here, too. I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. My mom was a nurse and did the same this for both of her parents. I bet she felt so loved by you.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So everyone has to do a a let go thrifting video now
Hell no😂
