Pretty solid as opening sequences go. I remember watching this in the movies as a kid and thinking *_'Wow, this is gonna be awesome!'._* Poor young me didn't have a clue. 😅
Watched it for the first time last night (I had seen and loved the first two movies in the 90's as a kid but never got round to watching the other movies in the franchise), and honestly I still very much enjoyed it. Not as awesome as the others, because of so many silly ways the characters behave (the yelling, the escaping into a building and then - instead of going deeper in to the building - standing right at the door, etc), but I still had plenty of fun watching it :)

There’s a few animals that might have been responsible for the disappearance Pteranodon:it could have been soaring just below the fog,and just low enough that it could have snatched the crew and flew away. After all these years of watching this movie, I finally finally figured out how those guys on the boat got killed at 2:11 to 2:31. I figured out which species of Dinosaur was strong enough, fast enough, vicious enough to kill those guys on the boat in the water. I believe that species of Dinosaur was a Nothosaurus. How else can you explain a predator leaping in and out from a speed boat 🚤 on the water. So, the predator had to be amphibious. The only amphibious predator in the ocean I can think of is definitely a Nothosaurus. Don't you, Jurassic Park/World fans agree with my logic?

I must say it's not a half bad theory you came up with, and interesting too, but I doubt the whole thing with all do respect. Now, if you recall in the movie during the Spinosaurus last attack, it was attacking the riverboat. So, I strongly believe it wasn't the Spinosaurus attacking that speedboat in the beginning, and besides, even if the Spinosaurus did attack the speedboat, it's so big it would have torn that boat apart and dragged it underwater. So, I'll make my point loud and clear, it would take an amphibious predator to be strong enough, fast enough, and agile enough to maneuver in and out from the water onto the speed boat. So that predator is none other than a Nothosaurus. Also, you did say to "plz correct you on any other theories that might be better than your scenario."
