Sony Xperia 5 II: 4K 120fps video footage

The Sony Xperia 5 II (read as "five mark two") is a smaller, more affordable version of the Sony Xperia 1 II. The Xperia 5 II is the first phone to record 4K video at 120 frames per second. Footage is saved as 30fps or 24fps, giving it a dreamy 4x or 5x slow-motion effect. We shot a bunch of slow-mo footage using the Xperia 5 II's Cinema Pro app and we recorded 4K 30fps footage with the phone's default camera app. Take a look.

It looks pretty good but the EIS in dark is horrible (so much picture banding) and that Zeiss coating ... is it doing anything? I can see a lot of lens flares.
Other than that, it's pretty impressive for a phone.

This is not anywhere near real 4K. Just look at the leaves on the left at 0:23. There's a noticeable lack of detail even on my 1440p display. Hardly even looks like 900p.

I would say it depends, if caera is priority than sony as lg's camera app isnt as advanced has v poor ultrawide and only has digital zoom but if u want performance than lg is better as sony tends to heat up and has lower batery life. Also sony feels more premium. I chose sony because it has same performance but better camera, and only lacking in battery and cooling. The 8k of lg is not relly that big of advantage because u will never use it as it has little to no difference than 4k, and it has very large file size.

Wait, is there no way to shoot at 3840x2160 at 120 fps? Because all the 4K 120fps footage has these annoying bars.
And in case you can't shoot at 3840x2160 at 120 fps, is there at least a way to shoot at 60 fps in that resolution?
