You could just launch those missiles without aiming?

      I am "Aiming".
The mushroom on the mast is a FCR(fire control radar). On the left MFD (I know its called something different cause it is the Army and not Airforce, but its a multi functioning display) I am using a single snapshot pulse(white) to scan for targets. It takes a snapshot of those targets, and I can yeet the Hellfire-L's(Radar guided) in LOAL(Lock on after launch). The missile gets brief guidance so when launched it will attempt to come from a different area than where I am (to help disguise where I am). This can be seen by the extreme turn the A2Gs make when fired. Then when they pop up, it looks for the same/similar target in the area of the radar "picture".
My right MFD has the HSI, with the targets superimposed on it. It is in DIG mode whereas it is an elevation map. They have satellite map, charts, and one more I don't recall.
So, all together I can stick the FCR mushroom above a ridge(while the rest of me hides), grab a picture, descend, and toss A2G over the ridge to hit targets.
A sortie before this, I hid in the city, grabbed a "picture" and yeeted A2G missiles off the side of the building.
Best part is I could fly ahead, take a picture, and Datalink them to my flight and they can launch from behind cover/concealment. Right over a mountain.
Hell, I could sneak in, land on a rooftop, turn the rotors off, run in just APU and constantly send picture updates for friends in the area to take out.

Notice on the next "picture" I take, there are green X's. This denotes the target is destroyed, but when cycling next targets on the left MFD (yellow triangle/diamond) they are not updated. This is because I am working with a picture, and not constantly scanning.
When I constantly scan the radar sweep is green, and the sight will constantly update.
If you have the module, I'll give you a crash course (puns always intended).
