Terrific wrap-up, Reney! Sounds like a very good reading month. Gerald's Game is a Stephen King book I know I would have to pass on. Stolen sounds really good! Hope you had a good Memorial Day weekend.
Thank you for the lovely shoutout! I really appreciate the support. 💜 The Diary of Anne Frank is so good. I liked your thoughts about having people from different countries reading it. It’s not banned here in Nevada, but it’s appalling that it is banned in some states. Holocaust history has to be taught to keep it from being repeated.
Hi Kaitlin I’ve read the diary of Anne Frank many times. I’m Jewish and I’ve lost family members in the holocaust. I have a collection of books and some of them are Other nonfiction about her. I wouldn’t mind joining this event. Aloha friend.
Hi Reney, can't wait to start our little Anne Frank's reading project. I don't think the book was banned in Italy, it got published in 1947, II World War was over then... Thanks for sharing your goodreads reviews, I'll connect with you there too 🌻
Thanks! All of us in the banned book project are amazed by the books that have bans and challenges. Through the years the focus of the challenges seems to have shifted as well. It's been an interesting and eye-opening experience for many of us!
I bought Gerald's Game in a book haul knowing that I wouldn't read it I bought it because I used to read everything by SK and then suddenly stopped. I'm hoping that one day I will decide to start back reading his books because I have quite a few that I own and haven't read. The few Little Free Libraries we have in town have a poor selection. See you at the next video. -James
oof, geralds game is among my least favorite king books great month overall though me and my family love your attitude and how positively you are approaching what life has given you we will send you l9ve and prayer
Thank you, thank you so much! Believe me, I feel the love and I appreciate it. It's a process and there are ups and downs, but I will have this in my rearview one day and be a better person for it!
Great wrap up! Stolen sounds really good. I am going to add it to my list right now. Thanks!

Yes, I waited a bit on that one, too! But I must have been "in the mood" this weekend because I could hardly put it down.
@@BeyondBooks-wt5il Well, that's great! I love when that happens with a book!

@@MarilynMayaMendoza That would be awesome, Marilyn. We will all post our videos in either July or August, so I'll let you know.

Yes, I'm the same way with King. Sometimes I read several of his in a row and other times, I don't read any for at least a year!
I forgot, I read Hearts In Atlantis last year and I actually enjoyed it. -James
@@Littlebiglibrary I have not read that one! But it seems I would probably like it - I'll keep an eye out for it!
