This is so beautiful, Renay! It must have been hard for you to move away from this! My brother lived in western Florida for a while, but returned to Virginia in part because of the hurricanes. I can't quite get used to Gulf Coast beaches - a bit too calm. I'm more used to roaring Atlantic beaches with waves! I'm glad you made the decision to join Booktube! I'm not a creator yet, but would love to someday!

Thanks for taking this video. I loved seeing the Buc-es's. The service plazas in the northeast are impressive. But they have nothing on the one you showed in this video. The ones I stopped at had maybe 30-40 gas bays. The one you showed has over 100. The ones I stopped at had a small store. The one in your video has a store that looks like it rivals a Target I go to. The ones I went to have a few food places. The one you visited had lots of food choices. Very impressive. I will say that the crowding in the store would probably give me anxiety. I wish you safe travels

I am a complete sucker for Buc-ee's. I will drive out of the way to go to one on road trips. I don't even know why. The food is fine, but not great, though I do really like the Beaver Nuggets and I really like their brand of cajun seasoning so I stock up on that whenever I can. I hope you got the octopus glass!

If any viewers haven't visited a Buc-ee's, it's like Walmart had a baby with a truck stop. But with a great mascot and homemade fudge. Visit at least once if you pass one. Hope you had fun there. They're always a madhouse when we stop at one.

Oooooo, you are brave, Reney, to try to film in a Buc-ee's! I was wondering if you were at the one in Florence, SC and you say in your video you were. I've not yet been to a Buc--ee's but have friends and co-workers who have, including the one in Florence, SC. There are two Buc-ee's locations coming to Virginia soon...one in New Kent County, VA and the other in Rockingham County, near Harrisonburg, VA, which is near my neck of the woods. The Harrisonburg, VA (really Mt. Crawford, VA) Buc-ee's is scheduled to open sometime in 2025. I have mixed feelings about this...I'm excited but I also don't want the Buc-ee's to ruin Mt. Crawford's historic and sleepy small town vibe. The Harrisonburg/Mt. Crawford Buc-ee's will be near the Green Valley Book Fair, which is a book destination for people from several states to come and purchase books for cheap. So if you visit the Green Valley Book Fair and the Harrisonburg/Mt. Crawford, VA Buc-ees's, you'll be able to combine books with Buc-ee's! I plan to do that! 😀 I hope you, Donna,, and Raina have a safe trip and a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃

That's amazing you found such a great copy of Beartown for only $1! What a find! I really liked your insight about the name Beartown and the town being somewhat of a trap. I hadn't thought of it that way, but it makes sense. Benji is my favorite character for sure. And I really liked Leo. That's so neat you got to meet Shelby Van Pelt at the author talk event! I enjoyed RBC more than I expected to honestly. It was a sweet story with some great themes.
