So sorry to see him going through all this. As a nurse I have seen some of the worse pancreatitis at University hospital. But they've all gotten better and praying the same will be with Ron. Hugs
I have been through something like this with my wife. I got up one morning and could not wake her up. I called an ambulance and they took her to the hospital. She was awake when I got there. They out her in the ICU because she was breathing on half of one lung because she had pneumonia covering her right lung and half of her left. They put her on a vent. And while they were running tests they found out she had strep in her blood stream. Her body was shutting down was why I couldn't wake her. I spent a week by her side in icu with her on a vent praying the hole time. The doctor told me if I had waited 30 more minutes she wouldn't have made it. I feel your pain. I'm praying for you and Ron. Love from Texas

I too had gallstones with a few getting stuck in the bile duct. Thankfully it was detected before things got real bad - had the gallbladder and stones removed. It's very common when gall stones pass from the gall bladder and bile duct that they irritate the pancreas and cause pancreatitis. Prayers that he makes a full recovery soon. And for you and your family too.

Hang in there Ron and family. I had acute Pancreatitis 8 years ago. At the ER they thought I was in the throws of a heart attack but a quick ultrasound showed the problem. Two weeks in the hospital later and a lot of antibiotics/morphine, and I turned the corner. Two weeks after release from the hospital, I went in for outpatient surgery to remove my diseased gall bladder (the cause of the Pancreatitis). Both of my sons, have had to have their gall bladders removed as well. Take care... we are all rooting for you, and of course praying for you and your wonderful family.... Joe

We're a pretty close knit community of fishermen down here on the Gulf Coast and I believe the majority of us would do anything to help anyone in need. Truly so sorry y'all are having to go through this! Ron is one of my most favorite TH-camrs, he is so true and genuine and just down to earth. I feel like I'm just watching a friend go fishing, and he reminds me of the people I try to surround myself with. Hoping for a speedy recovery, sending thoughts and prayers from Texas!
Prayers for Ron and your family. I’ve had pancreatitis twice. It’s a painful experience and also a long recovery. It physically takes a toll on the body. He will get better and get his butt on the water fishing!!! 🙏
