Matt remember this flood water could be carrying food. Washed out the rivers and creeks ro the ocean. It could carry offall kinds of food. Shrimp and copepods and small not normally see types of life the crymstaceans crabs etc out to sea along with edible seaweeds to the sçç ea. But the water in Gulf Shores back In the day was as clear as Pensacola Beach year round . The development around Mobile Bay and especially the Coal that is being spilled into the bay to supply the Chinese Industry is a horrible polluter of the entire Alabama Gulf Coast .

That Black Drum isnt even comparible to the Red Drum . Im guessing that fresh water coming out of the Mobile river probably pushing these things out .
