Bro, i was considering xuv300 petrol yesterday.. why do you suggest to go for diesel only... Budget is tough for me. Is petrol performance poor when compared to the diesel w8? Also, what is your opinion about mid entry level of the diesel xuv300?
I saw your video on thar...i am considering petrol version, because of budget and delivery time period. But you are giving your comments for the highest version only.. how to decide for base or mid versions?
Don't worry. Just go ahead with the petrol variant. Its perfomance is too good. There's also a tgdi variant in thw xuv300 model. It has 130 ps power and 230 Nm torque. It is way better than diesel variant.
Pls take a test drive . You will come to a proper decision.
XUV 300 is the best in this segment. I had the test drive for both cars Nexon and XUV 300 at the same day with 10 minutes gap. Nexon has blind spot in the right A pillar, it has a big cabin noise, and a lot of body roll. Even clutch is also harder than XUV 300. But in XUV 300 is far better in all the above. No cabin noice, very less almost no body roll, very easy light clutch. Very fun to drive. More safer then Nexon because of all wheal disc brake and 6 air bags. The 17" allay wheel gives you more stable and confident drive. Besides XUV is heavier than Nexon. XUV300 is the best in this segment. Go for XUV 300. It has fun to drive strong punchy diesel engine. After a test drive with Nexon,Kia Seltos I purchased XUV 300W8(O) last week.

Design looks very old. I used kuv 100, build quality is very good. But mileage is very poor. So I sold it. I used petrol car. I test drove xuv 300 and its design is looks old but build quality is nice. So I choosen altroz. Safety and mileage wise altroz is good. Even it has cruise control and auto on and off on signals.
