Very cool opening. Another great Baturday Knight Live show!!!
Thank you Mr. Akins! I was LMAO at the live stream (had to watch it after the live stream was over) on MonCom's channel. Every time you would laugh, it would make me laugh right along with you! That was a great and entertaining video!
Excellent thank you for sharing my dear friend ❤❤
Garage Geek is Good People for sure! And thanks for sharing SOC!
He so is!! I will truly cherish that book like it's the best one I will ever get! Thank you so much for once again leaving a comment. You are very much appreciated good sir!
Keaton will always be my favorite Batman. Those are some awesome books.
Thanks brother! Sometimes "your first" is always the best!! 😉😁
Ooh, that Batman #42 🔥🔥🔥 Love that AOK story! So many cool people in this community that are very generous. You included 🤘
Thank you brother! I like to believe that comics bind us all together; and people in general, when we share the love of something, we all tend to have a giving heart! Thank you so much for watching! Skol!
Thanks for the survival advice! Gonna start collecting dryer lint! Waste not want not!
Great gift from Garage Geek! He’s also the one who recommended your channel to me.
Ps I seem to remember that Frank Robbins was the writer on those early Man Bat appearances.
Your survival is of the Utmost importance Sleepy! ☺
@@sleepyreader666 He is such a great guy; and he has made a friend in me for life for sure!
Awesome 😊
Thanks brother!
Survival tips - I need those. Batman 100!!!!! Wow - first appearance of Cat Woman. That Garage Geek is weird. You getting choked up is the start of the golden age. You are amazing, Cromson. I actually have some of the Batman Omnis that you need that I don’t want. I’ll check tomorrow. I like all the Batman movies and different actors. Funny story - I took my daughter to see the premiere of third Nolan Batman film but it was all three movies which was a long time in the theater bug so much fun. Tilda was freaky.
Oh my; I must have fallen asleep right before you sent this. Well, I never get more than 5 hours of straight sleep anyways (old man bladder), so I am happy your comment was the first thing I saw when I woke up this morning.🤗 You are an amazing person, and I am not the only person recognizing that. I actually have some more stuff for you as well that I hope you enjoy! So very neat that you sat through a "Triple Header" movie with your daughter, that shows right there that you are an amazing person doing that for your daughter! And of course you would enjoy all the different actors of all the Batman movies... You are someone that obviously can find the good in everyone! Your family is blessed to have you; and I hope your husband realizes what an amazing person you are and tells you everyday; you deserve no less. Much love always my brother; I still cannot thank you enough for your kind soul. To steal the words from my Grandmother; "Bless your heart!"🥰
Thank you! I have Batman Omnis 1-5, 8 and 9. I was originally collecting them but I couldn’t afford all of them and now they are too expensive. Plus DC is starting to release their comics in a collected softcover format. Thus if you need Omnis 8 and 9 I don’t mind sending them. I am looking for a few Savage Sword Omnis plus Deadly Hands Omnis - I don’t think those will ever be published in the Marvel Epic format. But I don’t need to trade, only if you have them and don’t want them. You can send me an email - I’ll see that faster.
@@garagegeek4863 Only need #8. I have 1-5 and 9-10 already. I don't have any SSOC omni's, but I have some doubles I am sending you along with a great book!
Michael Keaton was my favorite Batman sofar. Jack Nicholson was the best Joker. Just my opinion, huckleberry . David ( garage geek ) is such a cool person. His generosity is tremendous. I am enjoying your show. It's very interesting
how comic books sparked the nostalgia in people. The books we read when we were young have the intrinsic value. Speaking of doctor holiday, A doctrine drama, "The Cowboy Wars" was very interesting.
Oh, I haven't seen the docu-drama! I will have to watch it! Love the history of the old west, and have about 4 biographies on Doc. Also like many other key western historic people as well. Mmmmmm, maybe I should collect Western comics next. 😉😉 Thank you so much once again for your well thought out comments. I love it!
I thought of a bit for your show, Baturday Knight Fever. (The dark knight) play on words.
Love it! LOL I remember my mom taking me and my sister to see that movie when it came out. She was shocked at some of the more adult content in the movie, so I pretended I wasn't paying attention when she would glance at me. After the movie, we went to a K-mart and my mom bought the Album for the sound track and listened to it over and over (she loved the BeeGees).😛
I haven’t seen all the Batman movies, but far and away The Batman is my favorite.
In most cases it seems like movie people trying to make sense of Batman to make a movie, whereas, The Batman seems like they took the essence of the character and made it into a movie, if that makes sense.
The changes they made felt purposeful and if you handed me a graphic novel version of the movie, it wouldn’t strike me as strange at all.
I hear stuff like how Batman almost always kills someone in any given movie, or how Catwoman actually has 9 lives, it just kinda puts me off. I’m not saying I’ll never watch the ones I haven’t seen or that I wouldn’t enjoy them, I just like my adaptations to feel faithful to the source material.
“I look a lot like Robin if you close your eyes,” is such a great line 😂
Great input Cora! Really appreciate your well thought out response. I have to agree with you on the graphic novel version; I can very much see The Batman holding form to that medium. Plus, I do love that they used the original name; *THE* Batman for the movie as well.
Yes, I think these little kids writing to Batman are just the cutest thing. Most were more than likely of an age where to them; Batman was real! 🤗
