  • In this video I revisit one of my favorite day hikes in my backyard, Mount Storm King. This hike is a incline the whole way up, with amazing views that make it worth it in the end. I also hiked Marymere Falls before storm King since it is on the way. Filmed in Silent Hike style.

Beautiful video and beautiful hike! I did it just a couple of weeks ago. It's always funny how no-one ever shows the taller peak directly behind the lookout at the "top", probably a good thing now that I think about it. It is a super sketchy climb up a gravel slope with nothing but thin paracord and rusted chain keeping you from death, I guess it's good it isn't advertised.

thanks. yeah these days you need a rope and harness and a partner to climb that. Maybe one of these days, but im usually solo probably not unless i partner up

Really nice video, thanks! I did Storm King 12 or 13 times as a training hike a couple of years ago, this motivates me to get back up there.

was this filmed in april? just wondering cause sometimes it takes a couple weeks for people to upload. i plan on going in may and hope this area is open then. i’m not familiar with it but it looks like some roads are closed until summer?? this looks so beautiful 😍

Thank you. This was filmed mid March. In May this all should be clear and no snow. Also this is located off Hwy 101 so it is accessible year round. Stay tuned for a hiking guide I will be doing for every thing you need to know to do this hike. Thanks for watching
