Thank You! This video was really helpful for planning our trip to Olympic National Park next month. I like how you mention shorter hikes which is good for family with young kids like me.
I’m from Washington and it ain’t 60 miles from Seattle. I’d say more like 120-150 miles and with traffic and two lane roads, it’s easily 3-4 hours from Seattle.
Yes it actually is. What part were you coming from and which part did you go? Olympic national Park spans across a HUGE area. You can reach parts of it within an hour drive of every area on the coast
5:38 i walked on the beach to hole in the wall at high tide (i only had a few days in WA so i couldnt fit a better time into my schedule) and i got absolutely railed by some sneaker waves, i got soaked. Im just glad i didnt get a concussion from being slammed into a tree lol. Good times
The devastating fire that destroyed hurricane Ridge Visitor Center was a tragedy. It was such a well-designed structure and had lots of options for snows hoeing, restaurant, Gift Center so many opportunities to explore the ridge. I have heard of plans to rebuild but will likely be in 10 years or so? Sad

It takes about 2 hours, just did it last week
It probably depends on if you take the ferry to the peninsula or drive all the way around
@@anakitasmiles3261 This is true. Depends on too how crowded the ferries are and with traffic as well.
Very informative video. Thank you
Great job hitting the highlights! Thank you.
Great video! Thank you ❤
Skip the traffic and skip the Hoh Rainforest. If you want to see rainforesty areas, go to Lake Crescent.
I agree. I honestly prefer the Lake Crescent/Marymere area to the Hoh rainforest. I feel like it’s a better version of the same type of scenery.
I love the Hoh Rainforest ❤
Love your videos! Comprehensive, concise and inspirational. Thanks for sharing your journeys. Safe travels
The beach is pronounced “ri-AL-to” Beach.
When you were speaking about Point of Arches you showed the view from Third Beach looking south to in Giants Graveyard.
Thank you!! Heading there soon and can't wait!

Romans 1:17
“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
I was born there way back when it was basically a logging town. 1964❤ so many people call me a liar 😂 but why would I make that up?
About dog ? Is dog allowed or not ? Thank you.
It wasn’t a wildfire that destroyed the Hurricane Ridge Lodge. The cause of the fire is undetermined but originated within the lodge itself.
Has it been re-built yet?
@@martinperez4743 nope.
I was there last week amd asked a vendor they said electrical fire
Sequim is pronounced "SKWIM". I moved here in 2013.
...and Kalaloch is pronounced "kah-lay-lock", and Rialto is pronounced "ree-ahl-toe"
Located in the rain shadow East of the Monsoon side of the mountain and is spelled - - - D E S E R T
I wonder if the Park Rangers have their own little funny weed patch hidden somewhere ?
Hot Springs
where can you buy gas? Or better to go with a tour
Kalaloch is Klay-loch.
