I remember back when I used to watch regular TV and look at the onscreen descriptions of episodes, most Seinfeld episodes had at least a small amount of distinguishing detail in their descriptions… but then one’s description just read: “Jerry dates a woman.” I thought: “Well that doesn’t tell me anything! Jerry dates a woman in pretty much EVERY episode!”

FUN FACT: A storyline in the Summer of George episode was inspired by the actress who played Nicki in The Calzone. (00:42)
The actress' real name is Danette. One of Seinfeld's producers, Alec Berg, asked Danette to be his date to an award show. She agreed. When he went to pick her up, he learned that she had a boyfriend. Instead of being bitter about it, Berg had the experience written into the Summer of George episode, which aired the following season.
