Lol. Awesome. I come from a long line of truckers. I even went out on a few runs in the 80s. Back then, you had two log books. One to show the DOT and one that actually had your real miles on it. I know truckers that have taken meth and speed and anything they could find to stay awake and run for days on end. This song might be funny, but it's got some truth to it.

I was a otr driver for 38 yrs and I've run 3&4 log books almost every week. In the 70&80s they took speed mostly RJS, Black beauties, and more. Trucking back then was a whole different world than it is today sadly. Driver's stuck together and looked out for each other.

[sigh] I miss my dad. Haven't seen him since he stopped by home with a couple lot lizards and beat Mom while screaming about his blue ice. He paid them to babysit me. I was nine, and I discovered what "fried eggs nailed to a wall" meant before I'd ever heard the phrase. And that was the guy. The woman just chain-smoked and occasionally coughed like a lung was coming up. Anyway, they piled into his truck after he tried digging a hole in the cement garage floor because of a treasure map I drew in crayon when I was four. He broke two shovels.
