This is art. This is a masterpiece.
Those 10 years had everything. My homecountry won the Worldcup. My club won their first Champions League. The miracle by Leicester City. The rise of Messi and Ronaldo, 2 of the best players of all time to the ultimate "monsters", going for sick records year by year. Countless nights of football-magic, so many moments that are forever, so many tears and joy.
And: That decade made me who I am. I married. I went through a bitter divorce. I lost the house. I lost my job. But I got back up. My two boys were born in that decade. I finally found the love of my life.
This Video may be just a video for the most people here. A football-video.
For me it is a reminder for what I went through in those years, all the good and the bad stuff.

Growing up, I bonded with my dad through football. I used to watch matched with him late night every week. I'm from South Asia so the matches were around 1-2 am midnight. So it was either me waking him up, or him waking me up.
Now I'm 24, in a bigger city, studying engineering in my dream uni. My dad is 63 now. This video made me miss those sleepless nights with him. Made me nostalgic. Made me think of the incredible childhood that I had.

Omg You just made me cry I didn’t like football till I was 3 yrs old I was sitting in a family gathering and I was playing in my room it was the 2014 Champions league final and I remember my dad and my uncle and their friends were watching the final and when they screamed after Ramos scored I remember running to the living room scared and I saw both my dad and my uncle and their friends crying either with happiness and with sadness I remember asking him what happened and who died and he said “ athletico’s dreams died “ I was like who’s athletico and what happened to his dream and he explained to me what happened and I was angry because they screamed over something like football but then I decided to watch football with them and I rember the whole apartment was screaming and my cousins ran asking what happened after Ronaldo scored the winning penalty I said “ athleticos dreams are dead” I am now playing for a local team still following my dream of being a football player in Madrid and Ronaldo is my goat till this day my uncle and father are now dead due to cancer and I still keep following my dreams to make my dad proud in the stars….

I genuinely started crying after 5 minutes. The best football comp I have ever seen in my entire life, and I truly, truly mean that from the bottom of the heart. Watching this video made me realise how much we take the beautiful game for granted and that without it, what else do we have? This is more than just a sport where we as fans turn up to matchdays, it's what brings people together. Different classes, different races. Re-living these moments by watching this was one of the best feelings I have had. The goals, the moments, the music. Everything about this video was so spot on.
