    Can I ask how you carry the drone bag?

    • @WanderingSimon
      @WanderingSimon  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The drone folds up pretty nicely and it came with a smart little shoulder/crossbody bag that fits the drone, the controller and the batteries. Doesn’t weigh much so it’s pretty easy to carry even when you already have a backpack on.

    • @Novice2Nature
      @Novice2Nature 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ thanks. So I’ve got a 65l Eurohike rucksack and it’s getting pretty full. I have a mini 4k that comes in a very similar case to the one you have but I think it’s going to be too tight to get it in my bag. Do you carry your drone over your shoulder or do you manage to get it in your rucksack? I’m new to this as you might see by my tag. I’ve just started my channel with a view to documenting my journey from scratch so this is very informative 😊

    Love the accent mate polish with a hint of Scots twang lol. Great vid but your wood prep needs a lot of work the blade on your saw is a hacksaw blade used for metal or plastic. A cheap pruning saw would work a lot better also the lot you were trying to process was waaay too thick for the tools. The smaller branch was a much better size. All that said keep up the good work and keep learning. I've subbed & looking forward to more vids. I'm not that far away from you so you never know our paths may cross lol. Good luck with channel.

    Try and camp as far away from trails, especially in the park's near cities..
    If you can, try and find woodlands that are nowhere near cities but out in the countryside, people don't want to go far from the cities and there where they do not want to be, you go.
    I think that you neither wanted to go as far. That way, you stayed in the same bubble as them. Nothing wrong with that! Sometimes you can't just go as far as you want or whatever reason .
    I get it not wanting to go 'the extra mile', so to speak, but you will get your peace & quiet in return 👍😃
    I like the way you film, nice and steady, for example when you filmed that little red chest birdie (can't for the life of me remember the correct name!) 😆

    my bet is that ppl behave obnoxious in such areas for territorial reasons. Like they camp or they fish there for years and they see you as someone who is taking bit of ''their'' land. I dont have any other explanation for now. Humans can behave likes territorial animals although in 2024 we are all supposed to be decent and civilized. But we aren't. Now about the video, I liked how you did not hide your mishaps with cutting wood. How tools failed you and also tools that did not fail you. For someone wanting to try wild camping this was very good growding.
