- The mini surge math is actually wrong. Since it’s a level 6 mini surge, Kaoluga’s mini surge deals 20% x 6 damage, not 20% flat.
This means that at level 30, Kaoluga’s mini surge can deal 61K damage if all hits connect which when combined with his main attack is roughly 112K damage or 8.2K DPS.
The mini surge is still ridiculously unreliable, so this doesn’t change the analysis that much, rather emphasizes my point that Kaoluga is very solid on offense compared to his subpar KB performance.

This has to be the most disturbing unit yet, by far.
Not only does it have the skeletal structure of all other lugas, thats to be expected. Making everything else big is fine aswell, but the head is just the most disturbing body piece you could make big. The biggest disturbance if this unit by far is the fact that it takes its head off. No other unit actually hurts themselves like that, taking a body off itself.
Truly the most horrifying luga.

I think Asiluga is the disturbing unit (the one with deflated torso, ridiculously long & skinny arms & legs with abnormal head structure), but Kaoluga is a close second though-
Balaluga. His body is being ripped apart, by some orbs that he can slightly control.

Kaoluga has the possibility of capitalizing on a unique and potentially valuable niche: separating backliners from the fight for brief periods of time. If it's knockback becomes more consistent and it's minisurge becomes more focused towards the more distant half of it's range, it could play a game of Keep Away with long distance enemies, which could really give it a valuable spot in many stages. Here's hoping it gets a TF that capitalizes on that, but Lugas getting good TFs is always a coin flip.

@@notafish8229 It’s what it can do. Both Kaslis have uses other than to keep away and snipe backliners, considering their impressive DPS and usable procs.
Kaoluga can maybe fill one of the many roles either kasli does with some buffs, but considering how good the Kaslis are that’s still a dub in my book, especially for a Luga. Just a little bit more, maybe with talents or something, and he could be usable, sometimes, should you lack any better alternative.

Kasli's surge spawns more at a middling range, and more often than not pushes everything. What I'm hoping for Kao is for it to keep backliners away while other units deal with the Frontline. It's two very different applications of the Knockback ability.

Yes, but if the Minisurge is made to consistently spawn towards the farther half of where it can go right now, it will knock back the backliners more consistently while the Frontline only gets knocked back once.

Kaoluga is pretty good imo. For such high range his dps is very high bc his surge is about 70% accurate (or is it just me). For me he is low B or high C

I restarted my game recently and got this guy as one of my first ubers, and to say the least, this uber has singlehandedly carried every single stage for me.
kaoluga is way too underated honestly
If You have only him as a Uber and atleast 4 meat shields (coin cat,gold tank,tank cat,macho) he can carry to early chapter 3

Well, a lot of peoples are trashing about Nekolugas but Koaluga must be REALLY strong in early and midgame. It's just that in lategame a lot of enemies have wave, surge, percing, stupid range, or push really fast. And you need units with really high damages in late even at the cost of survivability because everything have ton of HP.
But something with Ururun-like DPS if not higher (depend where the surge land), 710 range, percing and sometimes pushback should be absolutely broken in the first half of the game where fights are more statics and 710 range in enough to outrange almost anything. Imagin briging him against crazed tank cat for example.
Remember that in early/mid, lil Nyandam is a viable unit in some stages.
It is imgot it during very early midgame and its pretty good

Kaoluga is a beast against crazed cats bro
I think it only good in early game, he lacks of immune, low hp and 1kb make him hard to protect. KB has low proc frequency make him fail as a support unit, mini surge is unreliable, he only good at sniper role, but many uber is better at sniper role. Overall he is a bit better than the list, maybe D or C tier.
@@user-zl5ew1pu4u Kaoluga carried 30 chapters in SoL for me and was an mvp in crazed/manic cat and eraser. And actually, despite his low survivability, Kaoluga usually was the last to die out of all my ubers lol

although he is still extremely useful. I own him and despite his low survivability, Kaoluga is usually the last uber to die in every battle, I use him like 80% of the time. Only stages where using him is a deathwith are stages with waves, surges, zombies and enemies that outrange him

No imo, the mini-surge is just so inconsistent in its placement that unless his tf decreases the range variation of the surge, no matter what, Kasli would be better, and that’s not even pointing out her better stats in general.
