Hey everyone and its time for another guitar cover. This time i'm using the Gup Tech Torch as a boost. I will go into detail how I use the Torch to get that nice raw death metal tone in a future video.

you are very close to the original album tone, I think that the IR totally makes the difference. I use the song Cold on that first powerchord to try to get their tone, I start with the gain because its easier to feel the saturation, then I start messing up with the EQ but sometimes it takes me 2 to 3 days turning knobs getting closer or away from their tone, I almost dont use the MT-2 highs, I try to compensate with 6 band EQ after it, try to shape the parametric for 2 whole days for fun and I use a Brazilian version of the HM-2 as boost, the gain is from zero until it star making fizz, and the mids and lows are all try and error.

Agreed the IR is a make or break for me. Some people like to dime the controls but it doesn't work for me as it does for others. But that's the beauty of individuality and using gear that works for you. Really cool to hear how you go about making this tone happen for you dude.
