    do you have three layers.. I have a think batting in the middle.. I need help and want to learn how to hand quilt.. Ive just put my three layers together ... if you have three layers that are to think to go through the way you do is there an alternative.. should I just stich in the top layer and the batting and not go through the backing?!?

    • @TimLatimerquilts
      @TimLatimerquilts  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      this is three layers.....the top and a wool batting and the backing, you need to go through all three, it does take prectice

    Do you enjoy hand or machine quilting more? Do you ever hand quilt without a hoop? Beautiful work!!!

    • @TimLatimerquilts
      @TimLatimerquilts  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I enjoy hand quilting more but lately I have trouble doing it because of arthritis. I never hand quilt without a hoop, I cant begin to get decent even stitches without a hoop to help hold the fabric for me

    I know people are going to be pissed at me for saying this. But your work is stellar. Your level of craftsmanship is phenomenal. it's just so hard to listen to the "uhms...uh...uhma...the uh...I uh, with uh, ...." It's so agitating to listen to. You're the king of this genre and it's beneath you. I know I sound like a jerk for saying this. But, none the less, it's true. Don't let this habit tear down what your genius.

      It's not toastmasters! Turn your sounds down, or off if it bothers you so much!
