RadioRunner TEACHES Moderndayjames How to Paint? | Interior Environment Painting Tips

Moderndayjames and I are buds, so naturally I hopped on a livestream of his, took over, flipped his world upside-down and made him re-evaluate his life choices.
In actuality, James invited me on to a stream and asked to go over my process for painting interior environments, since I'm working to specialize as an environment artist. We go over a layer-based approach, using selections to aid and build up the process of adding light to a scene.
James was a good sport! It's not easy to teach over voice chat, so I doubt I was doing the best job. Regardless, I think he had a cool study session.
It's about the friends we make along the way.

ABOUT ME:
I began learning how to draw in February, 2019. I was inspired by Into the Spider-Verse and told myself, "I want to be able to make something like that one day". SO I decided to pick up a pencil and start learning.
I've spent every day since scouring the internet for the best tutorials and lessons to help teach me how to be an artist.
But I don't have all day - I want to figure this out! I've structured my practice and learning in a way that has gotten me to figure out the fundamentals in 2 years - and I hope to have even less until working professionally.
