I love how you always seem to read a "small" amount of books each month. Makes me feel better about reading just 1 book for February (harrow the ninth, and im still not done 😅) when i see that not everyone is plowing through a dozen books each month! House in the Cerulean Sea is one of my all time favorite cozy reads so Im really glad you liked it too!
💙 I appreciate your transparency. Simplicity can simply mean accountability. You made sure you got your spreads made without burning yourself out. I still liked how it turned out even noticing your “mistakes” it gave it more of a realistic look vs over the top.
Your layouts are so pretty! Also I like the book title/author stickers. I think they're a great contrast to your beautiful, soft lettering and make the page more interesting. 😊💙
Glad you enjoyed the house by the cerulean sea, I really enjoyed it too. Am waiting for the sequel, somewhere beyond the sea but it won’t be out until September (at least in Australia). I gave my sister a copy for her birthday and she and her wife both want to read it. Beautiful spreads as usual Hedda and I love the girl sticker you used for the first page. 💙🩵💙
I loved The House in the Cerulean Sea. The book was recommended to me as well. It was so sweet and I loved the ending!!! I had no idea that there was a sequel so thank you for sharing that little fact! Your spreads turned out so very beautiful! I love your collage format. You make it look so very easy! Everything always turns out so amazing! I love you February reading journal!!!💙💙💙
"extracurricular activities" 😂 I'm stealing that one. I just finished the acotar series, I don't know if I want to keep reading, I don't know what to expect. I very curious but at the same time, I don't know what to read next and just how involved am I going to be (I have so many thoughts on acotar and the characters). And then I heard about CC3 and I'm so curious!!! 😩
The sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea is on my TBR too, I loved the first book so I'm hoping the second will be just as good if not better. Love the spread you did for it too! If you're in the mood for something outside your usual reads with some sci-fi, The Martian by Andy Weir is really good imo. I prefer it over the movie for sure
While I can’t read or speak Norwegian, I always get so happy seeing it in your videos. I’m very proud of my Scandinavian heritage (Norwegian on my dads side, Swedish on my moms side) and it’s been a longtime goal of mine to learn Norwegian. I’m notoriously bad at learning languages though, so I’m not sure how realistic that goal actually is 😅
I’m currently reading Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer and really enjoying it so far! I personally loved HOFAS and liked that there wasn’t too much of the other characters. It is a Crescent City book after all, and I didn’t want other people to come in and save the day! 💙
💙 just finished The Swifts which is a cute YA book about a crazy family whose names are picked from a dictionary. There’s a murder, treasure, and family drama!
I have The House on the Cerulean Sea and Under the Whispering Door on my “to read” list. I am currently reading another Klune book called In the Lives of Puppets. I plan on reading Under the Whispering Door in April and House on the Cerulean Sea in May. I like your February cover page…not everything needs to be maximum effort. 😊
Waiting for a coffee theme and the review of legends and lattes+ it's prequel. Or maybe a dragon/blue orange theme for the prequel of "priority of the orange tree"
I think there is way too much sex in all of the Crescent City books! I always skip past them. Listening to audible also then becomes a problem. I get they 'do it', but I don't need to know about every single time!!!! Guess it's an age thing. I am 53 lol x

I highly recommend Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree, its a really cosy whimsical fantasy
