The older brother in Tied to You pissed me of so much I had to drop it. The age gap was so uncomfy already and then he was soooo possessive and kinda manipulative I couldn't stand it. I was surprised seeing people so excited for physical release.
right??? honestly i could get into it if it was advertised as more of a psychological thriller but i got the vibe that it was supposed to be romantic from the first volume? i'll keep my eye out on people's reviews of future volumes
Itaewon class kdrama is soo good, it was one of my favourites at the time it came out! My husband doesn't watch alot of kdrama but he loved it!! I also felt so weird about fox colored jealously too, why did they keep having to say they are related :/ Also adult picture book rubbed me in the wrong way because it felt like he was projecting his feelings onto this innocent kid just because of his feelings for this person in his past, i just didn't vibe with it.
i hope i'll be able to watch it soon!! the first volume of the manhwa was so good other than the art being a little rough. and ya the set up in adult picture book was definitely weird... depending on the direction the story goes in i think it has potential, but the mc has a lot of work to do on himself ... which he should have done before getting married and taking in a child
Definitely recommend the live action of Itaewon Class, and it’s a complete story.
Also, if you like manga/stories of family dynamics, I definitely recommend Mission: Yozakura Family. It’s basically action comedy romance, starts off as an episodic comedic slice of life and gets into the more serious plot in volume 3.

If you want another manhwa that has explicit use and reference to a leveling up system, the series Concubine Walkthrough does just that! I also like S Class Heroine and Destined to Die a lot too so I think I fall into the category of liking the use of the game’s system in story in these otome isekai series

I was annoyed by the same thing as you for Fox-colored Jealousy. The spin off (Kind of a Wolf) that they are releasing was so much better imo. I also love Fake Fact Lips by the same mangaka so I hope it gets a physical release.
right 🥲 my gemini was sad but beautiful, i'm glad i checked it out and interesting about fox-colored jealousy, the art was gorgeous and i thought the story was cute other than the cousins thing so definitely willing to read more from the author
Have you heard about Tales of Reincarnation in Maydare? Idk if it's available in english, but it's in german, so i've been reading the first 7 volumes of the manga, which is based on a Light Novel, and i'm obsessed, like it's really good imo ♥
I also read Dahlia wilts no more or Dahlia in Bloom (it has several names apparently) and i really like it. Cozy fantasy, slooooow burn romance, magic.. and the anime adaptation will be released this summer :o

I am also pretty weak to villainess stories. It can be the most average story and I will eat it up lol. I read If the Villainess and Villain Met & Fell in Love and I am really looking forward to the next volume!

I read Tied to You (full story) because I also like soulmates stories, but this one was such a miss. The older brother is awful and very manipulative. If you find him creepy now I don't think you gonna like him later in the story as well. Didn't drop the story just because I wanted to see how it's gonna end. Overall, very disappointing read for me
FYI most of these “mangas” aren’t mangas, they are manhwa which are Korean comics. The ones that are manhwa from what you should us are: The Uncanny Counter, Ties to You, Itaewon class, the S class heroine. Mangas are Japanese and manhwa’s are Korean, please do research and educate yourself
is the title of the video what’s bothering you? … i used “manga” for brevity’s sake but i am aware of manhwa. i explicitly refer to tied to you and itaewon class as manhwa in this video … maybe i didn’t pronounce the word right? so apologies on that front and if the title of this video was misleading
She said which ones were from ize press, Did you know that ize press publishes manhwa? And yen press publishes manga? Ize press is apart of yen press and the package was sent to her by yen press. FYI there is more manga than manwha shown in the video.
Are you even korean to be so rude about this kind of thing on behalf of koreans? They clearly say in the video that they tried some manhwa sent to them as well, manga is alot more mainstream in the media so it's easier just to title it manga instead of manga & manhwa. Also you clearly didn't watch the video cos if you did you'd have seen they refer it as manhwa when talking about them??
So glad Yen Press picked up The perks of being an S class heroine!! I didn’t think they would pick it up so early since the English translation isn’t even close to finishing the story.🤭🤭🤭
But Yen Press should definitely pick up How to survive as a maid in a horror game!!🫡🫡🫡 It is also another really good isekai manhwa.
