nice a quick tip for you to create joint chain create 100 joint in one place select 1st one go to hierarchy and pull all at a same time.. 2nd there should have a group for every curves and and use P short cut to parent the cluster under controller...
Yaaa.... what you said its correct thank you :) 1.Because snake body is on bend so that's why i did like that. 2.If you giving any connection to control you need creat a group otherwise no need. 3.If you make a P parent meathead cluster it wants work so we need to do a grouping meathead.
@@GMSVIDEOS-Autodesk-Maya-2017 i am sorry but your 2nd and 3rd ans is not appropriate. we do grouping to the controllers 1st it's orientation can mach the joint or object orientation. and it's help to make clean outline what very important in Rigging. it's help you to later aslo if want any connection or any set driven key on it. and 2nd p will gonaa work very nicely if you parent cluster under any object.. even cluster also not gona brake. any way no issues good work.👍
7:37 it's "Select All, as in Select Curve1, then right-click and turn on "Control Vertex" that part is in milliseconds hard to catch Also, after you reselect curve1 I had to turn Control Vertex back on each time (someone may know a shortcut) however, after selecting the CV I just hit "G" and placed the Deform Cluster
Thank you for this video tutorial, it's great. I completed it excellently. But I have a new problem and hope you can help. When I scale, the variation of offset and amplitude is distorted unlike when scaling at default 1. I hope you can help me fix this situation. Thanks a lot
when I change the amplitude my controllers change positions but not their translate values, so the snake mesh isn't deforming, maybe I must to include ik spline handle curve in our sine modify or what is my problem in? //Yes, I needed to include the spline
Hello !!! i try it , but the sine deformer move the circles controls but not the joints, if i move individualy the circle controls the joints moves, help please
if someone have the same issue , the solution was, go to menu "select/allByType/nurbs" if you select the nurbs from the viewport for some reason dont work
@@GMSVIDEOS-Autodesk-Maya-2017 You would select the child first (cluster) then shift select, Ctrl select in outliner, parent (curve) then press P. (Shift+P children to unparent) It's set like this by default, but in your case it miiight've been change. Thanks for the video!
Nice! Thanks Another trick you coulda employed, drag the tthee little dots upwards at bottom of outliner to see a duplicate outliner window, drag from one to the other to avoid scrolling Maybe you know this already
i followed the steps, got everything right, but got a doubt,, what if the animator wants to pose the snake? the fk is not working. right? this is just ik rig. Right? or did I miss something??
I think what u wanna know is ... I was confused too and wondered how he selected multiple cv and still got a single cluster for each ... But what he actually did is selecting the first two and get a one cluster for both selected, then he selected the next cv and pressed G(=repeat) , Selected the next cv and pressed G again and so on ^^ Hope that answered your question ; )

"P" Parent is not working in this Rigging so i did grouping meathead drag and drop :)

fantastic
I'm not using it for demo
I'm just using it for TH-cam.

I just don’t get it why Maya is the industry standard when c4d is way much better than it in every ways.
